hello everyone,


My application was received on 15 September and i received my PER on 30 December. My local VO is NDVO but my consultant( from Canada) told me that i am assigned CPC-Ottawa as my VO.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]so there are few questions in my mind..?[/size][/size]

1. Why my file was not transferred to my local VO?
2. Is CPC-Ottawa faster than NDVO? ( which can be good )
3. Canada and India are having almost 12 hour time difference, how they gonna verify my employment and all because when there will be day , India will have night, how they gonna call my boss??

Dear Seniors,

I applied under NOC 4011 and my application reached in 1st week Dec.

As per my understanding the last charge for NOC 4011 applicants was mid Oct .. Other NOCs are being charged where applications reached in Nov ..

Does this mean NOC 4011 was capped in Mid October .. Or can there be any other reason too ..

Please guide ..

If you had no legal status in Canada at time of submission of your file to CIO, you are not eligible for inland processing and hence your file was transferred to foreign mission (NDVO). I wonder how your consultant came to know about Ottawa as they don't send AOR. I advise you to raise a CSE to Delhi (google for details) to find out the whereabouts of your app.

P.S. Background checks you are referring to are done by local private detective agencies, not by VO.

I have been waiting for 3 months to get my MR etc. but no luck, Visa office NDVO

Should i be concern, what can i do in this case. Experts??

No Need to worry yet ....
I got my PER on 8th Oct and got the MR a week back.
You should get the MR soon .

if ur wife is pregnant and in 7th month or later than lvo will not issue you visa, cos ur wife wont be allowed to travel with a pregnancy of more than 6 months. so u will have to wait and get done with baby, then do the medicals again and make docs for baby and then you will be asked to have visa for whole family. ur case can get delayed by 4 months on avg.

otherwise, relax, you will have PPR mail by this week. I wish u success and all the best.

I have a little different opinion here as my situation is the same and I have been doing a bit of research and brainstorming for the same as well.
As far as CIC is concerned, they are only bothered about having your wife's chest X'ray. There can be no exception to that. It has to be a full blown x ray of the chest. Now in some countries this is prohibited. But doctors in some likes countries like India allow this.

You state that you have already done the medicals and the website is updated. That means CIC has received the necessary documentation and should issue you with a PR visa.

The only folks who can stop you are the airlines. When it comes to this different airlines have different policies. Most airlines only stop you from traveling after the 32nd week of pregnancy. (end of the 7th month).

As long your MR is done. You should be issued with a visa.
