Hi Experts,

I am uncertain about my application status.

I have sent the application to CIO on 8th September and my NOC was 2171. But still I did not get any PER/NER letter. Can someone tell me whether I can wait for further time or I should immediately apply for Express Entry ? I find that NOC:2171 cap reached on November 2014. Is that means my application will not be considered ? What is the possible period up to which I can wait ?

Another issue is, I send only ECA for my post graduate degree (Master Degree) with my application. Is it mandatory to submit ECA for both post graduate and graduate degree. If so then I need to do ECA again for my graduation certificates. Any thought about that ?

Please help me clarifying both.

Thanks
Rakib

Hi..i recd a call from my consultant that PER has come. However has not shown or forward any email to me. Is there anything come as a hard copy via post? Or i have to rely on what my consultant says. Also one of my friends also submitted the file befor me however did not receive anything yet though his DD got encashed. Please advise.
May be consultant will demand money before handing out PER letter or email. Depends on your agreement with him/her

Hi

I had sent my application on the 11th June and returned back due to credit card decline, again re submitted on 29th October, till date they have not charged my card, whats going on. really frustrated with the Canadian govt . NOC 1123

since it was returned due to CC payment issues.........u again sent it with CC payment? do you think its a sensible move? I would have gone with DD all the way since 1st application.

lets think this way......if it was DD........ur june application was already received and may be you would have done with medicals by now........but due to CC.........u r still awaiting PER!

good luck,

Hey Senoirs ... my 4th line was updated as Decision made on 20th Dec but till date no PPR request for me yet :-(
Anyone who got PPR request from NDVO in this week? btw i am 7th may applicant.. I am scared by the time my ppr request comes i would have spent my 6 months of medicals (done in Sept end). Then i have to rush to canada without much flexibility .. Please help guys
IS NDVO only issueing MR and PERS in Jan month or they have forgotten people with pending PPR request???ncan it be senario where they get busy with express entry and completly forget us :-(Huh?
Can we email NDVO to check for our passport request???

buddy wait some more, NDVO is working very weirdly. its also possible that you would have missed the PPR email by mistake or via spam. you an send query to NDVO to ask them if they have sent it, then request them to send again or ask them the status about it.

but wait a week more, may be u can receive it by this week if not yet.

good luck.

Hi all

Good news. Got an email from yday from CIC saying that I have ' a positive determination of eligibility to be processed' and that my application will now be assessed by visa office.

So whats the next step after this?

Thanks

Dear All,

This is a humble request for all NDVO applicants...

Do not send your passports via direct courier send it through VFS only...

If you have hired a consultant, Do not listen to their recommendations or guidance for passport submission to Canadian High Commission, New Delhi...

If your consultant is telling to submit via direct courier (i.e. Bluedart) bypass your consultant and go to VFS directly and submit it there...There are lots of members who had submitted to VFS, Take advice from them...

The major problem is NDVO is sending it back our passports via Registered Post and it will take hell lot of time to reach to our or consultant's address...

If any delay in receiving post by your consultant than your passport will go back to NDVO...

So my suggestion is that submit it via VFS only...If you choose VFS than select pick up option from VFS office...

All consultants in India are cheater and they will misguide you always...

Same thing happen to me...my consultant send my passport back to my home address via DTDC and courier get lost at New Delhi airport, After too much of followups with DTDC hire ups we found parcel missing at Delhi Airport from 3 days and nobody has clue on that consignment...

Finally i received my passport back after 7 days...

What ever happened to me , I don't want that same thing will happen to our members also...

Treat this as advice from me...

I don't know about india but what I understood is that the things are done in this way only. no consultant would go and submit PP in person at visa offices. they just sent it via courier, may be the best one, but its bad of visa office that they sent back PP via normal post which definitely take ages to reach and even get lost in the way.

why don't visa office sent back PP via good courier service.....they can ask you to pay the charges which you will happily pay.

in Pakistan the Canadian embassy in Islamabad works this way, u sent PP via DHL or FedEx or any other good service, in return they sent back PP via TCS, its a local courier company which has made contract with embassy to deal applicants PP. in this way we receive our PP within 7 days after visa stamping, PP never get lost, never delayed and the charges are paid by us for courier, but we are happy for this arrangement.

in the end, I don't think so all consultants in india are cheaters........india is a big country by area and by population so yes it can be possible that cheaters and fraud consultants can be in large numbers but not all are bad.

good luck.

Hi Century,
Thanks for replying.

I already informed the NDVO office about my wife's pregnancy when I sent my medicals.
When my baby was born, i again sent them an email explaining change in my family composition. I have just got my newborns passport and birth ceritficate done and hence am now planning to send all the required documents. I have some questions which I am hoping you can answer. I have written same to NDVO office but have not got their reply for last 2 weeks now-

1) How to I pay processing fee of CAD $ 150? Is it via DD or online? I checked online and I am only seeing option under Express entry or Family Sponsorship and neither is my case.
2) I have also received request to submit my passport. Should I go ahead and submit it as I am almost through with 30 days or should I wait for the request for my newborn also?
3) Where do I have to send the documents for my newborn? To the NDVO office or the Canada office like I had done in the beginning?

Thanks you for your help.

Can someone please reply to this urgently.
I have got my Passport request but now I have to add my newborn son in my file.
Under which category do i make the payment? It only says Express Entry ot Family Sponsorship while paying online.
Mine should be under skill worker class.
Please advise yurgently

Raise CSE immediately to your VO urgently. You should have informed them much earlier about pregnancy of your wife.

The following documents will be required:
1. Generic form
2. Passport of your child
3. BC
4. Photos
5. DD amounting to CAD150
6. Cover letter explaining how your family composition has been changed.

I didn't get any update from my bank about the DD.I checked with them about 10 days back. I saw one of the member in this forum with the Nov 10 application received date got his Credit Card charged for the same NOC 2172 yesterday and his application received date was Nov 10th whereas mine was 5th Nov . So I am a bit worried .

Be calm as the information of DD takes around week to 10 days more than the CC charge. SO during next week call your bank again and asked about the DD matured.

its 11 months in expiry from now. but as its 4th month and u haven't got PER yet.....we can assume that processing can take another 6 months on avg.......so out of those 11 months only 5 will be left when u will be asked to submit PP........and I don't think so the visa can be stamped on PP whose validity is less than 6 months left.......

so better u apply for a new one, once it is made, wait for communication from ndvo, when they ask to update ur info which has changed, then inform them about ur new passport, send copies and also send electronic copies via email.

good luck.
