@ Pam13...i understand your feeling...we are both in the hot seat...Aug 27th appilcant..dD encashed 4th Dec..and PER still not left CIC laptop...sad...but we keep waiting

Dear All,

I got an email from CPC Ottawa yesterday (8th Jan) to send our passports to CPC Ottawa office.

Alternatively, we were offered to confirm we are outside North America, and then we can obtain the visa from a local visa office. In my case; Pretoria, South Africa office.

I have a question; how long would it take from date of delivering the passports to getting them back?? I travel a lot internationally.

Please update my status. (That was super fast! :D)

Good Luck to all.

@ CENTURY....135days and no PER......August 27th applicant...DD encashed since 4th Dec...i should still wait?or what can you explain is the reason here for the delay.

You have to wait... I am May 23rd applicant and my DD charged by last of September, but I haven't received PER. After a long time, I have received MR on Dec 4th. That's why I am telling you.... Be patient.... May God Always be with you.....

Hi canadianjatt and all
I just received CIO's reply to my inquiry on Nov 7. So your reply will come real soon.

As I already received my PER email, their response simply states that my application is in the queue to be transfered to VO and that I should contact local VO for further inquiries.

2 pieces of info: (i) they took 65 days to respond to my email, thus minus 5 holidays in between, their response time is around 60 days now; (ii) more relevant to SGVO, my application 24 days after receiving PER is still not transfered to local VO.

Good luck to all in our process!

Thanks TTBN,

Thanks a lot for informing me.......................

I have sent enquiry on 5th Nov and got reply two days back.....

The replies are mostly 'we have transferred file to VO and sent a communication on xxxx (PER)' or 'ur file was sent back and see the mail for details' or 'undergoing initial process'

I feel its waste of time writing email to CIO......

INSTEAD write email to VO directly, especially those people waiting for PER even saw ecas up for long time or CC charged long back...

Write enquiry to ur VO quoting all personal details and UCI (if available)... u will get reply in a week to 10 days and they will let u know file number, if not will tell u they dont have ur file

If the VO confirms file received,,,, RELAX AND HAVE FUN

If VO says file has not received.... U can do something VERY QUICK as u know there is something not right.......

OMG OMG OMG

I can't believe my eyes!!!!

Please confirm me is it really PER?????????????????
