Hi Lua,
I'm living in Toronto too and I think my VO is SP too.
I took the meds in April 2014 to come here as a student.
Do you think I won't need the meds again either just like you?
What was your case?

Thanks

Not necessarily, CPC-O requested meds from me, although my SP meds were still valid.

People I know got request also… But in their email, it said that they should undergo medicals or present proof of undergoing medicals, so they did the former. I still find it weird this phrase was absent from your email, maybe there are different kinds of medicals, and students from Ukraine undergo the immigration kind, while students from Russia some light-weight study kind, I don't know.

Who knows what CIC do and don't do, sometimes I wonder if every office uses the same manual lol

It can be true. But all CPC-O applicants I know of received same type of email.

Hi friends...

i am so delighted to inform that I received the PPR request email... I have been waiting for so long, at least, CPC woke up and showering good wishes on us.

PPR received today just 2 hours back

I may not be checking forum regularly, however, I will be happy to help if anyone has questions...send me message and I will respond.
Good luck to all friends... and congrats to all who received PER, MR and PPR.

Medicals are valid for 1 year so you can send previous done medicals copy But we have risk in this

If PR process is not completed within 1 yr of medicals then they will ask again and it will further delay processing. You should land in Canada within 1 year of medicals. COPR is issues till date medicals are valid

You are welcome my friend! Have you dropped them a line after your application date? My inquiry about the status of my app on Nov 7th has not been answered though. They must be very busy atm. That's probably the reason for the delay in your PER.
