Hello friends, I'd like to put a note to encourage everybody, we have always been reading many strategies for settling and succeeding in Canada, many will definitely say that getting a job prior to landing is impossible and many others will say that we need to plan for a survival job since getting a job in our noc is very difficult, I strongly disagree with that, we need to start working since the minute we applied to increase our chance for success, reviewing our resumes, tailoring to the Canadian expectations, review skills needed in different regions, etc, in my case even though I'm still waiting for medicals, I have been able to secure a job offer in my noc (2132) valid for 2015 and tied to me completing the PR process successfully.

Yes I had to shoot for a lower than my current position, yes I had to aim for an average pay for the region (according to the figures in the job bank), but at the end I believe is better than arriving and start spending our savings, or doing survival jobs.

Please, focus on your goals and put every effort to achieve it, if it means reviewing 50 job openings every night to review skill need trends, if it means to write a 1000 different resumes tailored to every possible opportunity ahead, if it means to sleep much less hours everyday compared with what you were used to, so be it, at the end the reward is to increase the chances to succeed!

I don't know if GOD will allow me to complete the PR process, I'm still in the middle of the road as many of you, but I do know that I will do my best to not fail for not putting my best every minute, every hour every day to pursue my dream.

Please understand that I'll not give neither personal details, or the company details, but if this words I humbly write helps another person to reach their dream, I'll be more than served.
Zanata Congratulation on your determination and your job offer!! That's great to hear what you did.
I hope I will make it... and I will get there with my dram designation which is not easy to get...

All best to you +1 :)

PER received Oct 27th and no news yet from VO.
Is that normal? It will be now almost 3 months with no update at all!

Congratulations. It seems that CC charging rate of CIO is increasing. In initial days it was taking 90-110 days and now it is taking 60-65 days. We hope that our turn will come soon.

Thanks George!! It does seem that way. Wishing you all the best, and hoping that your turn will come even sooner that you expect.

PER Received : 7th Jan 2015
VO: NDVO
NOC : 2281

Updated SS... Good luck everyone and specially to August applicants with NO PER, "Do NOT lose hope" you guys are still in the game. Believe me last 20 days were a nightmare for me. Stay strong email is on the way!

Medical wait begins!

Congrats fellow August applicant....looking at your timeline has given me more hope...you are August 22nd and PER just came yesterday 7th....meaning we remaining August 27th should wait for tomorrow or next week but i think CIC is no more doing FIFO...cos we see here Sept and oct gettting PER ahead of so many August...so other Augusts in waiting have hope.

Hi All,

Please suggest is it fine to accept a job offer which is not related to the NOC i have applied for ?

If i accept the job offer and send the updated job to VO as I am expecting MR soon (inshallah) will it have negative effect of not having job in same NOC ?
You can going ahead and accept, it will not affect your application.

thats ana awesome question... if I was at your place I would have accepted that offer as you never knw even after a PR you'd get your kidda job easily or not....besides if the jpb is for O A B NOC and you have atleast 1 year experience just bag it asap cuz you can apply via express entry anyways and get PR in 6 months or less....

I'd say hang on the hope and stay positive, I have observed that processing for NOC 1212 is slow as compared to other managerial and engineering NOC's... besides info with bank is not always updated the official processing time for PR app for INDIA applicants is 22 months so let them (CIC) under promise and over deliver and let the temporary quick processing not build unreal expectations in you but let it not discourage you at the same time.......

observing the recent patterns PER TAT of 4 months may stretch to 5 and there are instances where people didn't' hear about the PER but heard directly of MR request from CIC

I do believe that some factors may require extra verification for processing time (your case could be one of them since you're claiming points for relative) AND even I haven't heard from CIC, I applied for 1212 no news for DD either waiting 90 days plus.......there is no other choice and I give destiny no other choice but to get me a PER so its my way or its my way....LOL..... JUST STAY POSITIVE MAN... thats all I wanted to say

Just hang in there this forum is a family and we all pray for each other.....Cheers

i want to agree that NOC 1212 is not being given good attention as per fast processing time....i am NOC 1212 too,27th August Applicant and DD encashed since 4th Dec 2014 but uptil now no PER but what else can we do but to wait patiently for PER which will surely drop soon.

Pls help urgently,

I posted my FSW 2014 application which was received by Mike on 10th Dec. I just find out that the checklist, fee payment form and generic application form had been updated in October and November respectively.
My application was sent with the August 2014 version of fee payment and checklist forms while that of generic form was June 2014 version.
My questions are:
1) apart from this 3 forms, are there any other form(s) that was updated between August and December 2014?
2) Do anyone also have this kind of experience?
3) The Forms are no longer on cic site please can anyone assist me with all the updated forms and information concerning this?
4)What do you think will be the possible solution?

Please help.

Don't worry. Forms from August 2014 are not a cause for rejection. You will be fine :).

Congratulations! I am also waiting for my PER. Our timeline and NOC are same. Wish you all the best!

Aoa, we had our medical 1 day ago. As my husband is diabetic, we told thm,. Bp was normal, urine glucose was not found. N they referred him for hba1c n creatinine serum tests wth additional charges
The whole process lasted for 2.5hours.
They told us they will contact us in 2 days if further tests r needed else we must assume that our medicals has been dispatched....
Every phone call startle us. Today is gonna be that 2nd day.........
Im so fed up of all this struggle. CIC Must clearly warn all diabetic not to apply for FSw....I fearof becoming diabetic myself due to stress
I recvd PCc n RPrf on 5th january., given 45 days to submitt....
I need suggestion , should i wait till my ECas 3rd line is updated,n then submit rprf, bcoz God Forbid, if my medicals r reason for rejection, then claiming rprf would be impossible.

Plz diabetic forumites, suggest me out.............
