Even when you've been trfd within the same company to a different location, is it important to inform VO ?

According to me, as long as you are working with the same Employer, I don't think it is needed to update the VO about change of location, since it is a known fact that as per contract with any employer, employee needs to shift location as required.

However if location is other country, you need to inform VO, since it has a international travel information.

Experts, throw some light on any further inputs.

I have now realised that i forgot to attach copy of my diploma to ECA report while sending my application to CIC. file has reached CIC on 4th of December, and i havent heard anything yet. would you pls advise me how to send it now? woudl a cover letter indicating my name, noc, dhl tracking number be suffient for them to attach it to my application?? hope this wouldnt be a reason of rejection.

Yes, it can be reason for denial. Please send document to CIC on immediate basis.

It is very Easy, Below are steps:

Just go to right top of Screen and you will find " PROFILE " tab, click over it.

Then - On the left middle of screen you will get 3 options : Under " Modify Profile " - please choose second option " Forum Profile Information " and click over it.

Then please enter your details , whatever applicable , like :

Location:
Category........:
Visa Office......:
NOC Code......:
App. Filed.......:
Doc's Request.:
Nomination.....:

And it will show under your name .... Please help each other to make it easy to check current timeline of individual.

Hi Everyone...I have a quick query with regards to the mode of sending the passport to the VO upon receiving the passport request 2...
Iam aware that we can either send passport through courier to our local VO or through VFS which i have noticed that quite of few of them have done it...

• I was just curious that is there any harm if we courier our passport within our native country by DHL ?? and secondly, does CIC send back passport through normal post to the address or by courier services..
• Lastly, does the VFS guys open the package or keep it sealed before delivering to the CIC ??

PS: I have read somewhere that sometimes these VFS guys mishandle the passports and then the blame comes on the poor applicant.

I checked and YES, it was the PER email

Guys do you have any idea how much time it will take between MR and PPR from NDVO ???

It is difficult to judge as NDVO has started PPR request by MID Dec only but still believe that at least 35-55 days are needed for processing.

Hi All,

I'm currently waiting for Passport Request. NDVO is my Visa Office.

I may need to travel to USA on L1 visa in coming months.

I'm wondering In case if we receive PPR when I'm in USA. How can I send them to NDVO ? You can't send Passport to NDVO when you are in USA

1. Will the NDVO office accept the Passports if I courier them from USA to New Delhi ? (As it may be not legal to courier PP)You can't send Passport to NDVO when you are in USA. This is not legal, so No to this option


2. Is there any other way to submit the PP to NDVO if applicant in out of INDIA, Like can I ask to transfer my file from NDVO to any other office in USA or CANADA and send the passports to that office ? :-[ No

I'm worried as travelling back to india to post the PP to NDVO might be too costly affair for 3 people You should inform the NDVO regarding your situation, they will suggest you accordingly. For sure they will not ask you to come back to India and Submit your passports, may be Indian Embassy can takeover the NDVO responsibility in US

Its almost two months from my medicals done and 3rd line update but no news form NDVO. I want to know status of my application...and thinking to contact NDVO...

What should be ideal way to contact them?
