Hi All Today I received my passport with visa......for all my family members.....at last....Thanks to all the members of this blog.... VFS Global has too done its job nicely. within seven -eight days...I got my passport back.

I will look forward for future guidence too, as I am new to any other country of the world...except INDIA.....Keep in touch with me.....

SS kindly update my status in spread sheet ...also my aplication received date was 12 may 2014.

Hi,

We are 16 june applicant and waiting for MR and 2nd line updated on 16 December.

I am 22nd July applicant and 2nd line updated on 26th December saying that they have started working on it rom 23rd december 2014.
I just wanted to know whether i need to update my supervisor saying that NDVO might call up for verification and stuff even after 2nd line update ?

Or my assumption is wrong and NDVO can call up anytime before MR for employment verification.

friends I have recd my PER mail on 31st Dec. Now how much time will the CIO to take send the file to VO. Also once d file has started processing at VO what kind of enquiries they can go for as I have to intimate my employer about any possible enquiry by VO

You can call CIC to get your UCI.

1. Download Google Hangouts (optional) on your phone if it has an android or an apple OS.

2. Dial CIC (+16139444000). It costs nothing if you are done with option 1.

3. Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 1).

4. IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.

5. IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.

6. As soon as you get to the agent, just ask for the UCI#. They do not have any status information for FSW applications. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. After some seconds, you will have your UCI#, if they have started processing your app.

If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent.

I have received my PER on 4th Dec, 2014. In the meanwhile, I have been transferred to a new city and my salary has also been revised. Should i inform NDVO about these changes.

I do not want to change my permanent address in my application. Kindly guide me on this.

Yes, it is important to inform VO about it. Though unlikely, it's possible that visa office decides to pay a visit your office. If they find out that you don't work there anymore since a few months, and you've not updated them about it, your application could get into some deep trouble.

I am glad to share my good news with you. My CC was just charged by 1100 CAD. below is my timeline:

I forgot to send my wife's additional family information form and sent it immediately as an addendum. However, CIC hasn't answered my email, they have apparently matched it up. Moreover, I forgot to put the bar codes on top of all docs. Let's keep fingers crossed for PER and MR.
