Hey guys,

I'm an August applicant (5th) and received the PCC request today. I'm currently living in Canada under work permit and have never left the country during since I arrived. 5 years ago under student visa.

Do I still need to submit the PCC or can I explain to them I have never left the country to commit any crime! they have my police certificate from 5 years ago when I originally came to Canada as a student. Any idea if this will work?

I have to travel back to my home country to obtain the PCC which is going to be the most expensive PCC ever!

You can try to order your certificate through your consulate/embassy. Good luck!

i am from india. my fsw application reached canada by 31 july. i got my file number by 20 november. after that i havent received an communication regarding this. can you please tell me how long should it take to hear from them back? should i be getting in touch with someone else from embassy?

My timeline:
Application sent: 23 Sept
PER: 8 Jan 2015

You can send the Fee Payment form again. Please make sure to attach a cover note giving the reason for loss of your card.

Also mention when was your application received, which NOC, and received by whom.

For reference you can also give your previous card number and let them know to replace it with the new card details.

Send to CIC address Nova Scotia.

Even My credit card had got blocked. So these are the things i sent and it worked.
1. Cover letter mentioning date of birth and passport details
2. New fee payment form
3. Generic application form as thr barcode in it may help them track ur application faster.
Include all the other forms as well if possible.
4.Also I mailed a scanned copy of fee payment form to the CIC sydney email id
CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca with a cover letter.

Don't worry make sure your new info reaches asap

don't worry. You will get. At this stage there is hardly any rejection.

Usually it was taking 4 days to get PPR mail but for my case its been almost 20 days.. since the status changed to "Decision Made" and no PPR mail... Is there anything I need to notify?....means any mail to delhi immigration.
