Hi Friends,

I have a questions for those who already got the VISA.

Several of us, including me, had to renew the passport during the process. Thus, when the passport is request we will send a new passport and not the ones we used for the application.

In this case, did you guy send a letter together with the new PP, informing about the renew?
If yes, could you please share a template example of the letter that you sent ?

guys it is highly advisable to use DD as mode of payment.

yes it is slow but its everything proof! I have read people are having some trouble again in CC payments, and one of our mate lost his CC just one week after sending his app to cio!

so there are problems with CC, it can get lost, snatched, cancelled, payments can have issues and many other things. the only one advantage is that payment is faster than DD but for that price u r having so much tensions and hassles.

better advice is to use DD, it will take 2 to 3 weeks extra than CC payments but u have to worry for absolutely nothing!

DD Encashed: 16th Dec, 2014 (as per bank)
DD Encashed: 12th Dec, 2014 (as per PER mail)
PER: 7th Jan, 2015
ECAS Status: In Process - "We received your application for permanent residence on September 24, 2014."

I didn't went through it but bro its really easy thing.

write 3 to 4 lines in your own words explaining that your pp was going to expire and you applied for a new one and you received it on this date. don't forget to mention your application number, UCI, old passport details, new passport details and DOB. that's it, its nothing especial or something difficult.

Guys I need your advise URGENTLY Please....

I'm 26th June applicant.
NDVO started processing application on 10th December still haven't heard back anything from NDVO for MR (1 month has passed)

1. Should I write to NDVO and ask the status of my application?
2. Which email ID should I send an email to?

I saw one blank email in my yahoo with No subject line and no sender email ID. Could that have been from NDVO and due to technical error from yahoo it might have got failed to download properly??

Need your advice ASAP. Kindly help....
