My app reached CIC on June 3 and I received PER on 29th Sept. After which the second line was updated on 28th Nov(that is the day I received MR and RPRF), however the second line update was " we started processing your application on 24th Nov".

Now many say that once the VO starts processing the app, they initiate the first round of Background checks. How is it possible that background checks were completed in 4 days for them to issue me MR and RPRF??

Meds were done on 6th dec and 13th dec third line was added " Medicals received" and RPRF was encashed on 18th dec

Post MR, I presume, the second round of background checks are initiated(security and criminality)

Any thoughts experts on what Background checks does NDVO do in round 1?

Hi,

As per my knowledge from this forum, VO does detailed background checks for only those cases where s/he finds any thing doubtful in the application and it also depends upon the complexity of the case.

My timelines are also similar to yours and NOC as well ;)

But then I wonder, there are so many guys who are waiting for MR after second line update. All of them cannot be doubtful or complex cases.

Seniors may throw some more light on this or someone who received Background verification calls from VO may discuss details of his/her case..so that we can draw some inference

First congrats to all who got good news!
I'm new to this forum. I'll be really happy if somebody can help me with a serious issue. I sent my application for NOC 4012 mid Dec 2014 and they received my file before the end of the year. but unfortunately 1 week later I lost my credit card which I used for the fee payment form Sad and I had to cancel it and ask for a new credit card...now I have the new card. Do you guys know what I can do now and how I can inform the office for this issue?
Any help would be really appreciated.
If you know the address or telephone number I can contact with, please give me those info as well.

I had them but I have not sent, because my relative told me not to send.

No need to worry, they are not mandatory documents. They are just supporting documents. However, if one sends them they can add more weight to file but that too depends on the VO how much importance is given to these documents.

You can send the Fee Payment form again. Please make sure to attach a cover note giving the reason for loss of your card.

Also mention when was your application received, which NOC, and received by whom.

For reference you can also give your previous card number and let them know to replace it with the new card details.

Send to CIC address Nova Scotia.

Ideally you should be able to.

I have heard that UCI is specific to a certain person. It can stay the same throughout your life. No matter what kind of visa and how many times u r applying.

No problem at all dear!! These are not mandatory documents. They are simply supporting documents to show that your employment was genuine. Your friend will be through the process if all the required docs have been sent even without salary stubs.

First send a courier of new payment form with updated details of your credit card with a cover letter stating your

Noc applied:
Passport Number:
Date Of Birth:
Courier Tracking Number of original Application:
Date of Application Received:
Time & Signed By:

Secondly, send an E-Mail to following address explaining your case. Do not forget to apologies for causing inconvenience and be polite in letter.

Bank is still saying DD is not yet encashed.

While entring the data first time in SS I wrongly entered NOC 1111. I'll update the SS soon
