After waiting 23 days since my Credit Card was declined, they charged it today!!! The transaction still showes as Pending but I called the bank and they told me it's approved.

Is there any CC/DD charges? after 1 jan,2015. Any news about NOC4011. My application was reached on 1st week of december. Kindly suggest me do I need to apply for Express Entry or should I wait for one more month.

Attention NOC-2171 People

One of my friends who is not on the forum filed his application for NOC-2171.His application was received on 04-September-2014.
Couple of days back he received email from his bank (HDFC) that his DD has been en cashed but the bank has not confirmed DD encashment date. Al tough no PER yet. Will update here if he gets further information.

I am sharing this for the benefit of other guys who are waiting from same NOC .

Sorry to say but please be prepared as the current processing time is 12 to 14 weeks because of the holiday season.

My finger prints have reached FBI on 26th Sep and I have have been charged on 25th Oct and as per my conversation with FBI cal center agent, my report was mailed just over the weekend (I guess 3rd of Jan, 14 weeks n 2 days :-X), my friend in US has not received it yet.
Also, FBI does mail the report using regular post and hence reaching India would add up another 2 weeks. If you can, please provide an friend's address in USA and have them mailed them to you in India.

My suggestion, please go through an FBI channeler in case you are a US citizen or GC holder. Their processing speed is way faster compared to FBI, CJIS division.

you can reach FBI at (304) 625-5590 to check the status of your reports.

Again, please plan accordingly. All the very best

Could you please share the FBI timelines for requests that went from India. I understand that the website says 12 weeks + mailing time. Does it really take 12 weeks or is there a chance that it can be shorter.
