I am new to this forum and I have one question. In the forms I have not mentioned that I have been to canada in 2003 as it's been more then 10 years... Please let me know would it effect the processing of my file....please guide me

So I want to thank all friendly and helpful people on this forum who answered my questions patiently and helped me to send a spotless application to CIC. (and saved me 4350 CAD which a migration lawyer had asked for!)

You need to update the "Travel History" form and update CIC with it.
You will not require any PCC for that 2003 travel period thats for sure.

Dear Saurabh,

Do you know on which date your application has been received? From that received date you have wait for 90 days for your file to be processed at CIC. But based on current CIC activity it may be the processing will start sonner then expected. If your payment mode is CC then you will know right away about your file when CIC will charge it. Currently CIC is charging and issuing PER to last week of July and August applicants. Now what is PER? We forum members call it PER(Positive Eligibility Review) Which is actually PDR(Positive Determination Of Eligibility). When you will pass the completeness check CIC will charge your payment after that CIC will send you an email informing you that you are eligible for FSWP and further processing. This we call PER mail. This mail contains a UCI(Unique Client Identifier) & a file number. After that CIC will send your file to your local visa office which is NDVO for further review and processing. And I don't think there will be of any delay as you working in Dhaka now. And yes you can have your medical from Dhaka(CIC panel physicians only). And when your time will come for visa you can ask CIC about it that time. So now you wait for your turn to come. But do know your application delivery date from your consultant & always follow this forum. And if you are not enlisted in the global SS please get enlisted now. Below is the link.....

Thanks so much Raisa.. Just wanted to update further that yesterday 5th Jan my Credit card got charged. Now what next should I expect.
Should I feel my case is 50% Eligible for immigration. I want to add my time line again.

Application sent- 23rd October
Application Recd-3rd Nov
Credit Card charged-5 Jan 15
PCC of India and BD were already enclosed with application

Pls let me know for next stage how much time on average i needed to wait. Am worried and need help here.

Hi, one question did you got NERbefore after getting charged? Im so tensed cause I got charged nut still waiting for per.. and I have 67 points to be exact.

Do not worry if you reach that almighty 67 limit (Mine was 65, which led to NER)

In "charge date estimates" of FSW 2014 Global Spreadsheet, on the app. rcvd date 12/31/2014 the estimated first charge date is scheduled on 1/02/2015. How do you think will this schedule be followed? Is it an actual figure?

To say it short: can I expect that the dates of the estimated first charge will be followed according to the "charge date estimates" in FSW 2014 Global Spreadsheet?

I have question, as you said you got NER in your previous application which you sent on 7th may.
DID you check your ECAS after applying second application, I need to know since when your ECAS Start showing status of your second application(18th september)? Please reply

ECAS show two entries. The old one says decision made (7 May).

The second one, appears on top and it mentions they received the application on 18 September.

Passport request from NVDO...Just now received mail...Still ECAS status not updated to Decision Made...

I have updated about my student visa refusal after my medicals along with updated form. Hope this helps many who are in dilemma to update about VISA rejections at later stages...

This is some real good news, I am in the same boat as you were before your PPR came along . Now really hopeful for a PPR anytime soon .

I think you are in. It is too early to get worried. You may even need to wait for some more weeks.

i got my per on 8th oct, second line update on 4th dec, till date no mediical....

my passport and my wife's passport, (we both r un-married in passports) r not updated at the time of sending our application to cic...we attached marriage certificate and affidavits..
now i am planning to update our passports.....

will there be any problem??...

If you ask me, at this stage I would recommend not making any changes to your passport. Updating your passport will mean a new passport and you would then need to update the information with the VO could lead to delays in the PPR. Hold off is my recommendation.

who told u buddy? its wrong info, all fswp2014 cases of Pakistani applicants applying from Pakistan are processed at lvo. I don't know about EE but for fswp2014 its all the way LVO.

only interviews and visa stamping is being done in Islamabad.

As for the London VO, the processing time is 27 months. It is what CIC website says.
