Just got a call from my bank (ICICI Bank) that DD has been cleared on 29th Dec.
Was really worried considering that my app dated 2nd sept as per me was stated to be recd by cic on 20th Oct. I still am cautious regarding PER considering recent events. Will celebrate only once I receive PER.

Thanks to all forum members who believed in me even when I myself had given up hope. Wouldn't have been possible without the strength to sustain that you guys have given me. Don't want to take names as the list is endless and don't want to miss anyone even inadvertently.

Will update SS in the evening. My timelines as follows :

Noc : 1114
App recd date As per me : 2nd sept.
App recd date As per cic : 20th Oct.
DD encashment date : 29th Dec.

I also got DD from ICICI bank but they say we cant track encashment of your DD, kindly suggest how i can track the DD encashment, how they will call when DD is encashed?

hi bro. Check with the NRI Team at the branch. They can further check with fund transfer team and let you know.

Attention LVO Members, Need Your Help Plz

I received Medical Request from LVO on 17 Dec but didn't receive RPRF request at the same time like the majority of other LVO applicants.

Only the following members from LVO received RPRF request after MR:

spsingh25 (29 days after MR), sms2014 (4 days after MR), Jailika (32 days after MR), 1MJ01ME087 (4 days after MR), and Cheekoo (5 days after MR).

All the rest from LVO received RPRF request either on the same day as MR or even a few days before MR.

Is it something I need to worry about?

I also received MEDICAL IS MADE ON 12/23/2014 AND SO FAR I HAVE NO RPRF
PROBLEM IS IT AND WHEN IS ABOVE BELOW TO RECEIVE RPRF

I have question, My ECAS is as below; no communication from NDVO after that.
Please advise......

1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 6, 2014.

2.We started processing your application on November 20, 2014.

Hi Sidhu:

Note that for NDVO, applicants can be grouped into two:
Group 1: MR received. Some are getting Visa and most are waiting.
Group 2: 2nd line updated but after that no update. Possibly applicants of this group are unlucky one. They might picked up for random background checking or there are some issues that warrant background checking.

Nobody till now sure why the group 2 is waiting so long without update. Even for group 1, some thinks they are still under background checking (note that I am not the one of them)

So, waiting is only the advise. If someone is waiting for 3 months, in that case, he may opted for ordering GCMS note to know actually what happens. Note that if after 2nd line, if an application is not worked with, then GCMS note won't be much worthy.

So have patience. No news is good news.
