Dip, had written to cic on 1st Nov. Got a reply on 24th Dec saying that my app was recd by them on 20th Oct and is undergoing initial scrutiny. (though as per courier tracking, my app had reached on 2nd sept)

Don't understand how such a thing can happen. 48 days difference.
Mine was received june 3 but status shows received on september 3. I made CSE to NDVO they replied saying we have corrected ur received date, but ECAS Still shows 3 sept. Dnt know why so unprofessional.

should i put the amount back in my account till the PER??
If at all possible you should maintain this money in your account until you get the visa. At any point in the process you may be asked to produce an updated proof of funds.

There are some people spreading unwarranted and unnecessary negativity in the forum, Hey If you are so uncomfortable leaving your Jobs, Leaving your Country, Leaving your Cozy chair, Why the heck are you here ? Why have you applied for FSW, Did u ever thought that it was bed of roses, that u would land and the Canadian employers with come in a line to hire you, Sir, When you change cities it is a challenge and you are talking about changing Country- DO NOT SPREAD NEGATIVITY, people here are smart enough to score 67 + in eligibility that means they are well qualified, smart, Experienced Individuals and for sure they can and they Will survive the challenge , some one will feel comfortable in Six months and someone in one Year but eventually we all will !!!!
Thanks for not sharing your Disturbing and baseless views , Which reflect your own fears rather the truth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Seniors- Viewpoints ?????

My MR has been received by CIC NDVO as per their website update in December (does NOT list the date or month but since my app started getting processed on Oct 9, 2014 and i saw on their web somewhere in december about MR received),

BIG QUESTION:

1. SHOULD WE EXPECT CIC to request for PASSPORT somewhere in Feb 2015? Or March 2015? Is it taking 3-4 months from the DATE of MEDS received?

2. Since i am on h1b visa in USA and CANNOT MAIL my PP to india, simply requesting CIC NDVO via email (including CC) to Los angeles canadian embassy is ENOUGH to get the case transferred to LA Canada Embassy? We plan on doing this when CIC NDVO request for the indian PP. PLEASE ADVICE

Thanks for help

Happy New Year all,

I have been away for a looong time. My visa office is London and my status has been In-process for a while now. I have not been able to catch up on all the post so in case it has been answered before, please bare with me. My questions are;

I have relocated to another country and advised the visa Office, could that had brought about the delay as I have seen visas issued to people who applied after me?

Also please advise if my file will be sent to the Visa office covering the country I have relocated to, and if I need to contact the new visa office as am not sure what to do...

Thanks and regards

Seniors...
I have paid RPRF online and I got receipt.. I couriered medical bills.. RPRF receipt... change in employment letter.. etc via DTDC courier (Addressing file# and UCI # on the address label of the envelop). Although I get an ack copy from DTDC regarding delivery, Could I get any acknowledgement or status update in ecas that my additional documents have also been received at NDVO? Could you please let me know... Thanks in advance..
