Hi Guys,

I was checking "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u" link and found that the FSW applications are being sent to Abu Dhabi office for UAE applicants. Earlier it was London, so does it mean that CIC is trying to speed up the process by assigning local VO?

Not all VOs have Economic Control Units (ECU) that process FSW apps. Therefore, Abu Dhabi CPR apparently got its very own ECU. Processing routines vary because of defferent level of security scrutiny in regards to citizens of some countries. So, it is unknown if this ADVO will offer faster service than LVO.

47 days since cc got charged, no news from cic.

I think CIC has something with August applicants...Sept and Oct all gotten PER ahead of most August...i too have 30days now after DD charged and nothing no PER...i am 27th August...but lets keep faith

SAME HERE , I am not working at all in my current job and have become despo and tensed , always check ecas 1 hour interval including saturday ... i dont know when we will receive PPR . as there are many things pending which i need to clear before i leave india...........

Same is the case with most guys I guess !!

What could be the reason of CIC changing the visa office?
Also is it applicable also for FSWP applicants in 2014 OR for EE applicants

Hi All !

I've read people waiting to get FBI clearance.

• What is FBI certificate?
• When does one need to get one?
• I've applied under FSW from India, do i need to worry about one?

Applicable only for US returned guys. So relax.

"background check" mean?
It means both they can call the PCC issuing authority to check the authenticity of your PCC and
they also check the employment status of employers recent years and not all employers for your entire professional life.

Background Check has nothing to do with PCC. It is more regarding education and employment and whether provided docs are correct. PCC may be checked while security check.

My Medicals were done way before.
MR/RPRF mail received - 18-Sep
Medicals done - 22-Sep
ECAS updated to "Medicals have been received" - 22-Oct

My question was to know if anyone whose ECAS status updated to "DECISION MADE" post 20-Dec, received their PPR.

Dont worry. There are several applicants who got the status "DECISION MADE" before PPR.

Just stay calm. All will be fine.

Don't think they will again display the CAPS page. This page was meant to warn and inform applicants on the status of apps so that they could decide whether to apply or not. Now that the last date for applying has already passed, the page has been removed.

Hi All It is very difficult for some one to open SS and check your timeline:
Please understand the problem that due to restriction some one can't open SS and to reduce questions like, what is you app date, what is PER date, I request all to update your time line under your Profile on left.
Below s the procedure :

I have one request, if possible ... **** Please update important & required information timeline under you Name in Profile, so that it can be easy for every one to understand and see details rather then to go and check in SS.

It is very Easy, Below are steps:

Just go to right top of Screen and you will find " PROFILE " tab, click over it.

Then - On the left middle of screen you will get 3 options : Under " Modify Profile " - please choose second option " Forum Profile Information " and click over it.

Then please enter your details , whatever applicable , like :

Location:
Category........:
Visa Office......:
NOC Code......:
App. Filed.......:
Doc's Request.:
Nomination.....:

And it will show under your name .... Please help each other to make it easy to check current timeline of individual.

Earlier weeks [Saturday / Sunday] I have noticed members informing getting CC Charged, getting PER was it same this weekend also
Did anyone got PER
Can we know what the latest CC/DD charged for NOC 2132
