Hi Everyone,

I'm re-posting my question again...

I got PER on 31st Dec. My choice is NDVO. But in the mail they mentioned given below:

Applications previously destined for Abidjan, Ivory Coast will now be transferred to Dakar, Senegal. Your application therefore will be transferred to the visa office in Dakar.

Does it mean my Local Visa office is Dakar, Senegal?

Thanks in advance...

Seniors, please advise! I need urgente help with VISA ISSUES.

I have applied under FSW2014 and the whole process is going a lot faster than I could expect. While I applied I also bought tickets for a holiday trip in Canada.

I'm going to Canada on February 3rd.
My FSW process is in the midst of doing medicals. Already received my MR a couple of days ago.

I'm filling for my VISITOR visa today.
Will I have any problems if they request my passport in about a month or so to issue my Immigration Visa? I'm afraid they might request me to do my landing already but I can't because I'm going to need a bit more time to quit my job and get everything ready for my landing.

Can anyone advise me as to wether or not not I'm going to have issues having two different visas in my passport? Thank you so much!

To me, if you get PR visa, the travel visa would get invalidated. So, if you get both the visa and travel Canada, you would be considered PR applicant and would need to perform landing formalities.

Some people do land Canada for only 2-3 weeks and return home. The PR card is collected later on from friend or relative.

So you don't need to quit at the moment. Land there, return home, take time, prepared for settlement, quit job, and go back to Canada again.

Email CIO. Possibly it is their mistake. One applicant communicated on this issue and CIO ask him to ignore the VO issue.

Great news all in one Go, Congrats.

I think adding any new family member might cause a bit of delay, but won't be long.

Thank you Bhai....

Dear century,

Any advise for me please?

its more than 3 months since I have done with medicals and even 3rd line update. Not heard anything from LVO :-(

You can send a gentle query to LVO about your status. They may mistakenly did not send you PPR or the mail could get lost. So, ask your VO about your application status.

buddy that's really scary to know........3 months and no news abt ppr? may be u have lost that email by mistake or its been deleted via spam folder........raise your inquiry to lvo and ask them for status update. after MR lvo doesn't normally take so much time to issue ppr.
