Seniors, please advise! I need urgente help with VISA ISSUES.

I have applied under FSW2014 and the whole process is going a lot faster than I could expect. While I applied I also bought tickets for a holiday trip in Canada.

I'm going to Canada on February 3rd.
My FSW process is in the midst of doing medicals. Already received my MR a couple of days ago.

I'm filling for my VISITOR visa today.
Will I have any problems if they request my passport in about a month or so to issue my Immigration Visa? I'm afraid they might request me to do my landing already but I can't because I'm going to need a bit more time to quit my job and get everything ready for my landing.

Can anyone advise me as to wether or not not I'm going to have issues having two different visas in my passport? Thank you so much!

Sent MR, PPR , RPRF , PCC on 12th December , 2014.

Sent New Baby's Doc on 19th December , 2014.


Still no reply from CIC , is it going to be late ?

Congratulation Amit. I think visa is valid for one year from date of medical result received. I am also waiting for PPR.

You are right. Visa will be valid from one year after medicals or until passport expires, whichever comes first.

Have patience. You are not alone. There are hundreds of applicants waiting after 2nd line for long time.

its more than 3 months since I have done with medicals and even 3rd line update. Not heard anything from LVO :-(

I just had a quick call to CIC regarding my application and I was able to receive my UCI number from the agent.

The problem is when I try to check my application status it says "We are unable to identify you using provided information"

Has any one experienced the same problem?

Have you checked your email in Spam box ? sometimes the emails go to spam folder
once 2nd line is updated NDVO takes 10 to 15 days for MR

No of days till now : 60days

I have sent my applications to Nova Scotia,Sydney. When will i get to hear from them. As i am new to this network, some help will be useful.
