Dear all,

Question which I would like to ask.

When I submitted by documents during my application, I have indicated under the travel history form the countries which I have visited for both leisure and business for the last 10 years. As the application is pending review at this point of time, there have been travel after my document submission as well as in the new year.

Assuming that my application will be reviewed in Jan 2015 and I have travelling to outside my home country be it for leisure or business, must I or how do I go about declaring this travel for period after Jan 2015?

Hi Seniors,

In my MR and RPRF request, each family members have a different UCI number.
Is that common, and interestingly only my UCI number is showing up in ECAS.

Hello senior need some advice i am july 9 applicant per date 4 nov london visa office .i put permanent adress in my application of pakistan as it is shown in Ecas status .we moved to saudia 6 months back and i sent application from here.Do i need to update adress on Ecas?bec i didnt recieve any email from london visa office yet besides i mentioned my current country of residence as saudia.

Hello All,

need advice on the situation i am into .. i was residing on a address which was mentioned in the application while sending it back in july and now shifted to different address but the address mentioned before is not communication address as i have given permanent address for any communication and of course email is there int he app information.

Do i need to update the local residing address to NDVO ? just want to point out that the address i am living or lived in bangalore is not the address for any communication for FSW 2014.

I have completed all the PCC stuff and PCC was on the old address and moreover i got it the same day as my passport was less than year old so PCC was sent with the app in july....

As per me i need to update the address only if the changes are pertaining to communication address m i right .. so opinion suggestion advices all are welcome.. share your views.

As the communication address is your permanent address then CIC will only contact with you in that address if they fail to do it by mail. So i don't think you need to notify.

As 1123 noc was hot and i am not sure about the CAP, i would also like to simultaneously apply for Express Entry..

Can anyone please explain the complete process for Express Entry, step by Step??

Dear members,
I am a 12th June 2014 applicant and i received my PER through post office on 11 November 2014 as my outlook mail was not functioning properly. The PER letter is dated 15 October 2014 and following a query sent to CIC i was also informed through email that my file has been submitted to the Visa office in Pretoria for further processing and that i should henceforth deal with Pretoria Visa Office for any additional info. According to the email from CIC and the date on the hard copy of the PER letter (15 Oct 2014), i can safely assume that my file must have been submitted to Pretoria visa office at latest by mid October 2014.

I am now very worried as i haven't received any correspondence from them till now for the MR. and i am just wondering whether they have submitted the MR request at the end of October 2014 and because of the same problem with my outlook mail i did not receive the email and the 60 days for submission of the MR may also have lapsed at the end of December 2014. I provided Pretoria Visa Office with an alternate email address on 12 December 2014 and informed them of the problem i was facing with my outlook mail. Haven't receive any reply so far, as the 30 days wait time is not yet over.

Is there anybody from Pretoria Visa office on this forum who can kindly indicate the approximate time from PER to MR? i checked on the spreadsheet and i can see that 2 or 3 applicants who submitted their applications in June 2014 have already received their visas. I also wanted to know whether the amount of time taken for the background check differs depending on the complexity of the case. In my case i am already holder of a student permit in Canada and i've just completed a one year postgraduate course there and i'm back in my country since 15 Dec last. Currently waiting for the final results to apply for the postgraduate work permit in Canada pending completion of the PR application.

Grateful for your guidance as to my questions above
(i) are they very strict on the 60 days submission time for the MR? in my case would they consider extending that delay? MY PER letter mentioned clearly that the email address i provided does not accept correspondence, can this be used as proof that i did not receive the MR request if ever they sent it? Is there anyone on this forum in the same situation please?

(ii) Does the background check vary depending on the complexity of the case?

About pregnancy, you don't need to inform NDVO as family composition has not been changed yet.

Note that, you will need 3 months to get health card in Canada. So, any medical cost of delivery of baby before getting health card got to be borne by you. So you may plan accordingly.
