Just wondering if 370 points are sufficient to apply for express entry.. what would be the chances.?

Nobody knows, but I bet you can increase your score with a better IELTS. If you can, go for it.

Check the EE SS to see how you fit with 370 points. If I'm not mistaken it's about the middle of the pack.

If someone is eligible, he should take the chance and apply. It won't cost any money.

For most of the NOCs, targeted applications number is higher than actually submitted number considering 6 month period. So, for most of the NOC, 370 point could be sufficient for getting invitation for application.

So my suggestion, apply and apply earliest. The more time will be taken, the pool of application will be increased with qualified persosn, and chances would go down.

I heard they are gonna pick up random applications from different NOC's according to the points higher the points higher the chances ..

Also where can i apply for this.? and do we need to give copy of our orginal IELTS for this right now while applying ? or after they send ITA.?

No sir! You are not the most unfortunate. There are many May applicants too. Also, my second line got updated on Nov 25th.

I'm applicant from Nepal, I thought I'm out of the game! Then, should we have our hopes and prayers intact friend?

Guys,

Looks like the below link which use to give us the numbers is no more valid

www<dot>cic<dot>gc<dot>ca<slash>english<slash>immigrate<slash>skilled<slash>complete-applications.asp

Can anyone please confirm? Does this mean people who haven't got any communication have lost their chance?

My NOC: 2172
Received Date : 15th October 2014
DD CC : Yet to be charged

Actually, consensus among EE is that it will be NOC independant.

It will be even more than that: FSWP, FSTP and CEC will all be mixed in one single pool.

Let's see how it goes. We'll find out in a month.

Yes, you are right. But though it is NOC independent, I don't think if 2000 applications are filed from 2174 and all of them are qualified and received more points than NOC 0111 (exg - my NOC), all of them will gonna selected over 0111. They also need 0111 people. So there got to be subcategory. This is why applicant also has to select NOC. Though there is no CAP, it got to be market demand driven.

I hope NDVO will bless me today .

The objective of CAP update is to warn the applicants who are yet to submit to let them know whether he should file application.

As the program is closed, there is no point of cap update considering the original objective.

no action from NDVO today, seems they r in party mood, :( :(

Maybe. Over a large population it's statistically unlikely everbody will be 2174. And there is a larger necessity of 2174 anyway.

We'll see. Rules will evolve a lot over the next few months.

Now enough of EE - this is FSW!
