CC Charged: November 21st
PER: December 14th
MR: December 30th

I'm a little confused, after i get the visa and it's valid for one year from the date of the MR. i should land within this year. After that i apply for the PR there. or what ?

could somebody provide some details about the process and what papers are needed to issue the PR ?

Upon landing they take down you Canadian address (gives a friend's address if you don't have one). They then post your PR card to that address. I think it takes about 3 weeks to arrive.

I submitted my passports at VFS. When I was tracking it through their website; it shows the below msg.
Does anyone have any other experience while tracking the Passports?

"Visa application, tracking ID No.2014123xxxxxxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

Yes.. that's what you will get. VAC helpline is not of much help, so you will get nothing more calling them.

Did you opt for delivery to home, or collection at VAC. Delivery at home is pain, the status tracking is not good.

After landing u apply for the PR card which is delivered in around six weeks time. After that u can travel in and out of Canada with the PR Card for 5 years.

Which Visa Office?

Once the medicals were updated, within a weeks time, we saw the statement as decision made.

Medicals were uploaded initially, however they told us to do additional tests for me (kidney specialist report) which was done & uploaded. Once that was done, they have updated the ECAS as Medicals Received./

Most people made the mistake of not reading the whole statement here it is again,

d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

thanks for the advice.
i did go thru the form again and again. form IMM 5669 , 6(d) states for refusal of a refugee status, and 6(e) states for refusal of admission.(u have the visa but are not allowed to enter at the immigration point) there is no where mentioned REFUSAL OF ANY KIND OF VISA. like say for example the U.K. form they clearly ask for refusal of any kind of visa.
