Hey Guys,,

Can some one guide me..

I have sent my application for FSW PR on 01 Sep 14... till now no news ...

How to track the application status...

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME AND GUIDE ME...

Hi harryb729,

It usually takes 90 - 100 days to receive PER (Positive Eligibility Review) email from CIC. If your payment method is DD, then you can try contacting your bank on DD's encashment status.

Also, in case you have a UCI number, you can try checking the status at the CIC website.

Cheers,

I have received the passports with Canada visa and COPR Today, very happy. Best of luck to all the people.
Visa Office NDVO. NOC 2174. May 7th applicant.

Now the fun of planning begins ... Winding up obligations in India, Setting up things for settling in Canada, looking for Jobs in Canada.

Congrats and all the best.. :)

I hope you will get your PRby March. I think you wait till Jan end and make decision. Suggest not to write about it to NDVO it may create impact on process.

Dear Friends,

Time to seek your advice again. I'm a 15th July NDVO, 1112 applicant, PER on 12th November and currently waiting for MR. Earlier in the year, I had also applied for a full time MBA program in Canada. Fortunately, I have received a offer of admission from one of the renowned b-schools in Canada with a decent scholarship. However, the program starts in March and I'm not sure whether my PR application will complete processing by then or not. I do not have any other visa for Canada.

My questions are:

1. Should I write to NDVO informing them of this and requesting them to expedite processing of my application so I can attend the program?
OR
2. Should I file a parallel application for a study permit?

Have any of you been in a similar situation? Please let me know your thoughts on how should I ensure that I am able to join the program in March, 2015.

Many thanks in advance for your responses

So after waiting agonizingly for the past 4 months, I finally receive this email today -->

"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Your application has now been placed into processing.

X This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 25 November 2014 in the amount of $1,100.00 Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is __. Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.

My understanding of it is that the Payment Charged as well as PER have been carried out. But since this is the very first communication that I have received, would like to know for sure. Let me know where do I stand?

Cheers and GOD Bless Us Everyone!

G9....

Perfecto...this is the PER email....

Congrats buddy

So , Do suggest sending the correction now before getting the PER to the CIO or rather to the V.O. after getting PER ?
I'm a 22-October applicant.
Thanks!

Send it via courier to your Local VO after PER.

Dear Forum Members

I am 4th July Applicant and received my PER on 30 Oct. My Visa Office is London. My kids passports are expiring Dec 2015 so intent to get them renewed before medical request. My sons name as per passport had an error such that the first name was spelled as surname and the surname as the name. I want to rectify this, however, all the immigration forms filed with CIC required names to be input as per the passport, therefore, while filing application had input the names as required.

My concerns are:
1) I know that i will have to send them copies of the new passports before medical request. Would like to know the address of LVO and whether to send them through email or via courier? and also should send them unsolicited or when LVO solicits?
2) Most importantly will it be an issue with LVO if i rectify the name in my sons passport just like the way it should be?

Kindly help me on this.

Hello,

Could you please let me know what did you do with the name change? Did you keep it as is or did you get the passport renewed with the changes? Did it affect your application in any way?

thanks
Reshmi

Congrats Shakti, all the best!

Thanks all, for the wishes!

Will be going back to canada after more than four years soon, and happy this time it's on a PR. I lost the last year FSWP because of very silly mistake, Very happy that all the struggle finally bore results.

Help your fellow fouramites here, it will bring good luck.

Hi.. I applied for FSWP and got an initial email with a UCI number in Nov 2014. My visa office is London and am from Pak. In the meantime I am married now, so what process do I need to follow to have my spouse on board with me in the same process...?

Hi,
My friend has sent his application package from Dubai on 23dr December and it is with DHL nova scotia right now. DHL is saying that they can not deliver the package as CIC is closed for holidays and will open on January 01, 2015. Can anyone tell me if he is ok considering December 31 being the last date or is this end of story for him ??
dear my package was delivered yesterday by Mr. D. LEWIS via fedex so this implies they are open
