As per Doc checklist all POFs should be submitted in copies unless stated specifically otherwise. Your call.

I received MR and additional documents request from London Office. They ask me to submit POF, Recently my mother has gifted me her one of her house in Pakistan. I have legal affidavit stating about the gift.

My First Question is " Do I need to submit London office original affidavit? or Attested photocopy is enough? ".

My second Question is "Can I include my end service benefits (which is CAD 7,200 cash) in Settlement funds? " I have original letter from my current employer stating about my total end service benefit up to March 2015.

1. ECAS for dependants doesn't show any status.....don't worry

2. You are right, you have to pay RPRF for urself and your wife , not for your daughter.

3. They would have sent you an attachment in your main mail(along with CIIP attachments), listing all required documents.Generally PCC is asked if not submitted along with application.

Where do you belong to? If India (Delhi), get yours done as well, these days you get new passport within 10-15 days of submitting and verifying applications at Delhi regional passport offices. No idea about other cities/countries

Passport expires in 9 months. Will be going tomorrow for renewing my spouse passport after marriage / name change.....should I also get my passport renewed now ??? or should I do it later on during the process. :-\ :-X :-\

Are you applying from LVO or NDVO ??? As ur timeline suggests you have applied via LVO ??

OH....SH....

Sorry, I never noticed that I have mentioned LVO in my spreadsheet entry form....I am for NDVO.....let me change it straight away....

SSC certificate in lieu of BC is acceptable. As someone recently reported that her file was rejected for not attaching her husband's BC though provided SSC certificate, so send the affidavit as addendum. It won't harm your application.

My friend has sent his application package from Dubai on 23dr December and it is with DHL nova scotia right now. DHL is saying that they can not deliver the package as CIC is closed for holidays and will open on January 01, 2015. Can anyone tell me if he is ok considering December 31 being the last date or is this end of story for him ??

I have not attached birth certificate, instead attached SSC certificate with no affidavit. Should I send the affidavit now. MY file was received at CIC on dec 11th

CIC will accept SSC certificate as date of birth proof in case your SSC certificate has parent or parents name and you have placed a copy at social status documents as per check list.

I think based on above, once eligibility review is complete, vo updates second line. And i guess after that VO goes for background and criminality check cz it does not make sense for them to go for background check before determining eligibility against MI.

Quite unfortunate... DHL seems to be the slowest option.
How ever, to me DHL promised they will deliver my package on July 8, while they managed to do it a day earlier. Who knows, maybe your friend's application will get delivered earlier too. Good luck!

Don't worry... It's on the way... I didn't get any PER mail and I was a lil bit worried.... but with Gods grace, I got the medical request on Dec 4th... I am 23rd May applicant. so, pam13, don't worry bro......
