As long as you correctly wrote the reason at the space provided in the question 6, don't worry at all. Stay relax. Visa refusal/inadmission from of country A won't cause visa refusal for Canada as long as you disclose the information.

It means CIO worked with your application, your application is found to be complete, your information has been input into the system, and you will receive PER soon. ;D ;D

File is transferred after PER being issued.

Friend, that is somehting I have been trying to find out an anwser. What do they mean by second line. They have just opend our file or have they done with paper verification . I see an average of 10 days to get MR once the Processing started updates appears.

If this message indicates just the opening file, why do we see some of the june guys not getting this message

Hello Friends,

My current passport has my surname as blank and my given name contains my full name( first name + surname). In my application forms, I have entered my surname as not applicable so that it matches with my passport.

Now my passport is due for renewal and I would like to correct my first name and surname issue. Now if I do that, will it be a problem since my application forms have surname as blank?

Am confused, if I should correct it now or get the new passport without surname. Changing my name now might invite delay in my processing time right?

Could you please guide me?
