Hello Friends,

My current passport has my surname as blank and my given name contains my full name( first name + surname). In my application forms, I have entered my surname as not applicable so that it matches with my passport.

Now my passport is due for renewal and I would like to correct my first name and surname issue. Now if I do that, will it be a problem since my application forms have surname as blank?

Could you please guide me.

This is a fix .. if u change or rather rectify the name and last name in passport your PR application needs to be ammended by sending fresh applications like generic one and others ... or else you have to have the same first name and last name as part of the first name in the fresh passport you are going to apply for ...
Take a call and remember for everything situation there is a way out some or tedious and lengthy but they do exist.!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All forum members

What a great year end and new year start Alhmadulilah,,,,Just wanted to share good news that just now I received email communication from London Visa office stating below:

"Processing is now complete".

So i have to submit passport, photographs and Updated information chart to Riyad office via VFS global. though still my ECAS show 3rd line update.


It took 6 months for me till passport request ...Alhamdulilah...

Did any one got there UCI in 70 days from CIC

I wanted to ask if there are any restrictions on Medicals date when submitting MR.
Is it ok to submit reports that are 6 months older?

u don't submit the MR......it is done by the institution where ur medicals are done.....they submit it themselves electronically to the vo. without MR email they wont even do ur medicals......from where did u completed ur medicals without even receiving MR email from ur VO? self completed medicals are not recognized and are rejected straightaway.

I tried 3 times, was denied the UCI number each time. If you want to get it, tell them you have no clue about your application and are worried what has happened to it. They will ask you send an email, reply saying you already did that 2 weeks back and haven't got a response. You might get lucky and get the UCI. Else, just wait and watch.

Is there any precedent case of refusal because applicant failed to provide FBI PCC? Like if the applicant ask for extension and couldn't provide the PCC within the time? as there is some cases of finger prints rejection by FBI twice!!!

Have you appllied from Abu Dhabi? What was your visa office? Whether it was LVO? So, should I assume that the applicants whose visa office is London Visa Office, their passports are submitted in the Abu Dhabi Visa office?

lvo applicants from Pakistan submit their passports in Islamabad.

lvo applicants for all arab countries except saudi submit their passports in abu dhabi.

lvo applicants from Saudi submit pp in Riyadh.
