Hey Guys,

Just wanted to know, if we get any acknowledgement if the file is delivered to the PO BOX 7500, Sydney. OR is it important to send tit to the 49 Dorchester Street address to get an acknowledgement of receipt?

The only acknowledgement you will get is PER or NER

You don't get an acknowledgement from CIC no matter where you send your package. Your shipping carrier will be able to tell you if your package has been delivered to the address and that's about it.
Yes, what I mean't to ask is if the shipping carrier can provide acknowledgement of delivery to a PO BOX, since nobody would sign it, I presume.

i am Sept 11 Applicant, have not received the application from CIC , i am worried about the DD.
Also i have changed the address and the bank as confirmed that my DD is not encashed yet.
will prepare for express entry not sure if should wait for my DD to be returned and then apply for express entry? any opinions?

Dont worry.if ur application is error free and job duties qualify ur respective NOC codes then there is nothing to worry about.

my bank still says DD is outstanding and not encashed yet..........but i have received PER.... :) :)

stay relex and pray for urself and for me

No acknowledgement if sending to a PO Box but it might depend on what level of service you paid for. If you are using a courier service then you should send it to the different address.

Don't worry dear. Hopefully, you will get PER by this week. I'm also waiting for PER.

My details:
Application Received: 10.09.14
CC Charged: 26.11.14
NOC: 3112

Stay positive. Best of luck for your application.

Hi,

I was also encased on 26-11. My app was received on 11-09. Hopefully we will get to celebrate in few days!

Good luck!

For applicants after September, it usually takes about 1 month to receive PER after payment charged.

hi u can check your status only if you have a UCI number.

For which you need to call CIC and get one.
Ideally within 15 days of encashment you should have received the PER .
check u r junk spam folders .
also write to them asking for your app status which would be answered in 45 days time.

Best

Hi senior i am worried. May be a am out of race. As per bank reference my DD encashed 2nd Dec. But still no PER. Already 27 days gone. Need your expert suggestion.

The LIFO and FIFO system have totally proved abortive in CIC nd Local VO process. But one thing is sure as stated on their official FSW 2014 site on application process, they made it clear therer the each application shall be handled on case by case basis. Thus, it is Come In Go Out as much as CIC/VO is through with your case.

So let's pray that our case is given attention on time. I am also waiting for my Medical by God's grace. AMEN

Hi,

Can any one comment how does NDVO evaluate the files.
its very evident that they donot follow FIFO unlike CIC .
are there any guesses on what basis do they do the processing?
is it based on NOCs ?
We can see a lot of MR for hot NOCs where as for cold NOCs i see none.

Does anyone know how the trend would be?

Thanks,,

Yes they will provided the service you used required acknowledgement. I sent mine to thesame PO Box via Royal Mail with Receipt and Sign acknowledgement, someone signed for it when it was delivered.

So you mean that adding my gf will delay the whole process and might lead to failure of my own case?

The reason why I hope to include her is that we want to have a baby in 2015 or in 2016. If she doesn't have PR, the medical expense will be a really huge amount. Any suggestion?

Thanks ;D

my advice is DONT marry now if u can.....do it after u get ur PR. it sounds crazy but this is fool proof shortcut. u can keep ur wife with u on temporary visa and can get her processed easily while living with u there.

the other thing is.......if u get married, which I highly doubt u will :D , after per when vo asks to submit updated background declaration, send the updated form but don't sent ur gf docs with that, ur vo will ask u to submit what they need. so wait after sending it, they will contact u again to submit what docs they need for ur gf. then they will do the processing again for ur gf.....background checks, criminality checks and all other things..........wasting around 3 months on average.....then u will get ur family medicals. u will be asked to submit additional immigration fees and then they will ask for rprf and there u go.

Yeah if you use some standardized courier service then they will give you the confirmation of the document delivery via(they may even provide the signatures of the acknowledging personnel of CIC). BTW, are u sending FSW package now?? :o

As your CC has been charged and i believe you'll receive PER, you have to notify about your mistake to your local VO. If your local VO is known to send AOR when they receive your file & if you receive AOR then immediately you have to fill up the form with your updated information and you have to send it to your VO. You have to write a cover letter stating how sorry you are for your honest mistake. Don't use the word "I FORGOT", instead use the word "OVERLOOKED". And if your VO is not known to send any AOR then you should send the letter & form at least one month after the PER mail.

Hi Raisa,
Thank you very much. I follow your suggestion. My visa office is CPP-OTTAWA. I am not sure they are sending AOR. But will see. What happens if VO receives corrected forms and supporting documents before they issue AOR? What do you suggest, whether email first of send documents and cover letter by mail?

Now, I am really worried. I understood it will be long term mistake if I don't correct it NOW.

Thanks.
