This code you mentioned is not on the 2014 FSW list. You will get a reply to your query in 50 days. Probably, your app got rejected at c-check since you are out of normal timelines.

The PCC from Passport Seva Kendra or passport office is valid. It still goes through police dept for a crime/background check

I was 24th july applicant, i made mistake and put NOC code as 5221 instead of 5125, however i put the correct title (ie Translator) but they send back my applcation due to wrong NOC code. They will reply to your email after 45 days. Still have time, if you have second copy of your docs.

Its not me, Its someone else who did same mistake like you did.
I am NOC 2243 applicant my friend. Please reply to that guy who raised this query.

Thanks.. In my case content looks same for record check point view that they veirified in local police station about no adverse things but format is different & not other details are mentioned like passport#,duration of stay etc etc. On my insistent they added a photograph.

I can not go for reissue of passport just for speling error in address as traveling internationally with fixed schedule & do not have time to reissue it. also for Tatkal it take min 1 year stay to be eligible.

Do you know if this my PCC works ?

PCC issued from Consulate General of India is valid or not for NDVO

It is signed by Consul of Passports

if they issue it, it should be acceptable as per me...Still you are not sure, better get it from embassy...seniors can correct me if wrong...

The PCC which you get from PSK is very much acceptable and is accepted widely . There is no need for the Police commissioners PCC. All the best.

But it is also up to the employer , because what I understand is that he will initiate that process

I have question regarding the job description check done by CIC for NOC-2132 (Mechanical engineers) before giving PER. As Mechanical engineering is very diverse field and mechanical engineer can perform multiple jobs in different related fields ( list of engineers under Mechanical engineering is also mentioned by CIC), So do they want job description to be matching with all what they defined or they will compare the job duties as per the job or field in which person is currently working? Say Fluid mechanics engineer

I think they will ask to have about 70% of the main duties as shown in NOC
The title doesn't matter so much , as it differ from one employer to another
My job description is Principal engineer , but I am doing lead mechanical engineer duties
