i applied during diwali time when there were lot of holidays, so it took approx 25 days.. generally it should be within 20 days and max 30 days.. but u should start following up with uor police station d moment it crosses 15 days..

Hello all,

When I applied in June 2014, my stay in the US was around 14 months in the last ten years since I came back from the U.S. in August 2005 and never visited since. If LVO asks me about the US FBI police certificate later than February 2015, it would be less than six months that I would stayed in the US in the last ten years. Would I still need to submit the FBI certificate if they ask me later than February 2015? Plz guide. Thanks.

If you have any old FBI certificate, you can submit that and request them to accept it if not gone to USA after issuance of certificate. VO do accept this type of request.

Did you raise GCMS report ? My 2nd line was updated on 4th sept 2014. On 8th sept they asked to send PCC for me and spouse ? do you or your spouse had recent travel to other country for more than 6 months at the time of applying ?

What does CIC means for the above statement, for example if any candidate is getting 71 points under FSWP it does mean that he is 4 points above the actual requirements.

Hello All,

My app was received on July 15th and CC charged on Oct 31st. I am still waiting for PER. I am not able to check my status in E-CAS although I have UCI number (from previous temporary work visa) since I got an error that it is not in the database. I sent an email to CIO this week and I received a response. They answered the following: "Your application is currently in initial processing. You will be contacted in due course.".

This message was great news because now I know my application was not returned. However, as most of July applicants already received their PER, I am still confused in which stage my application is.

Anyone could help me on that? ???
