Dear Members,

I have question regarding the job description check done by CIC for NOC-2132 (Mechanical engineers) before giving PER. As Mechanical engineering is very diverse field and mechanical engineer can perform multiple jobs in different related fields ( list of engineers under Mechanical engineering is also mentioned by CIC), So do they want job description to be matching with all what they defined or they will compare the job duties as per the job or field in which person is currently working? Say Fluid mechanics engineer

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

The answer to your question as related to NOC 2132 is not easy my friend. Regarding other NOCs, some forumites got rejection dues to job duties not matching. Some say that 80 % of job duties should match. It is very difficult to answer. I can understand what you mean when seeing the job duties can apply to many different titles like design engineer, supervision engineer. The job duties are as wide as the mechanical engineering profession itself.
What about you ? what did you do with yours ?

congratulations

As per my knowledge... you have to provide all the details about your employment till the day u r applying.
In this case u should have provided the appointment letter.
Pls if you can send the addendum letter and request them to include the same in your file.
Any body with better knowledge please share....

Don't worry if you are seeking the points for your 4.5 years of job,it's fine then. You could have attached the offer letter of your current job. But if you have not attached it and your self calculated points are more than 67 you are safe. Just wait with faith. Good luck.
