Urine, chest X-ray, eye sight, BMI, and some physical (they just press some parts of leg and observe the reaction). Don't worry on this. If something is serious, you most probably knew it.

Sent my MR/RPRF to NDVO today by courier . Mentioned my Application No. and UCI no. on top of the courier. My question is
1. RPRF was paid online and receipt only has detail of CC no. and CC persons name on it. How does NDVO reconcile it with my application?
2. How does NDVO acknowledge receipt of RPRF and Medical ? Do they send separate mails for both or its updated online? What does the update for same read like?

1. They can match with the name. It is extremely less likely chance that two applicants would claim the payments with same receipts. Also you are suppose to fill other details in the receipts.
2. For RPRF, VO won't acknowledge it. For Medical, check ECAS. It could take upto 3 weeks to get updated in ECAS.

Hi , I called CIC yesterday and successfully got my UCI number.
given that I am a 30 October, What information can I get with it and when?
I tried to open ecas but it shows that it's not on the database so far!! Should it show "we received your file on xxxx"?????

FBI criminal report - Warning -

Hi,

I am worried about the timeline it is taking to have an FBI report ready in less than 60 days. It is taking from 12 weeks to 14 weeks imagine!!!! up to now FBI is working on September 16th received requests. Guys if you need an FBI report, request it now before it is too late. In my opinion do not wait until you receive PER. the Local Visa office will not give you much time to submit PCC and medicals. :'(( I heard they allow you only 60 days to submit all required docs)

I got my Medical done today (already updated SS) and I had some concerns regarding my weight (my BMI is 39), so I asked the doctor and he mentioned that he has never seen CIC deny an application because of weight. However he did mention that when weight is over BMI 40 and combined with hypertension and high cholesterol then some concerns may be raised.

PPR and VISA recipients...I have one query...

Can my parents send my passport instead of me via VFS?
Actually my passport i currently at my permanent address (my parent's place) and i live in a different city. do VFS has some kind of policy where passport has to be submitted by applicant only?

Just to clarify i havent yet got PPR, just want to ensure if i should have my passport with me when PPR comes or my parents can send it for me...
