Hi.... Have been seeing your worried posts and I assure you, there is nothing wrong with your and in fact my app taking a bit more time than the calculated "average". The MR requests for later dates add to the anxiety I am sure but just be informed that if you have received PER, your application will be processed and by the looks of it, it is exceedingly rare for an app being rejected after a PER. Even if you were to get the MR today and let us say the visa stamped by Jan, would you be flying in immediately in the dead of winter or would you hold back till May??? At least in my case, I will hold till may even if I get an MR today. I want my kids to "ease" into the weather rather than be shocked by it! So no problems! Let us give them some more time!

My only anxiety is that I've planned too many things around this, so the MR is just an assurance that me and my family are definitely on our way to that country. If all goes well, I am honestly planning for June/July only because of my son. My only hope/wish is that all goes well and we DO end up going in may/june/july

Would you have any idea about what checks are complete prior to MR request for applications where PCC was not given with the initial application?

Does this mean if the 1st working day after holiday is January 1st ,,,CIC will accept it ????

Hello people, please advice, my ECAS came alive since 14 days ago and till date no PER, what might be the problem? Does anyone else have this scenario kindly assist with info, the waiting is killing!....,?

I am also NOC-0113 applicant and my application reached CIO on 14th December,2014. I don't know that what will be the status of the reaching of CAP for NOC-0113 and whether my application will be considered prior to filling up of the CAP and when my DD will be en-cashed

According to their operations bulletin, IPA is encouraged to do verification on basis of documents without refering the case to third parties (to reduce costs of processing). If they acknowledge my PCCs received at CIO stage, they will request additional details from RCMP (Canadian federal police) and update GCMS with CRIMDEC1. Once both checks are complete, s/he schedules SAP to send MR.

If the CAS is not alive the review has not taken place yet.
