I am applying from India....and payment through DD...receiver general for canada ....whom shlud it b payable...New Delhi or Canada?Huh


Also all the DD isued are valid upto 3 mnths only .....so what suld we do if the app takes more than 3 months???
i've checked all the banks....none is giving a DD validity of 6 months!!!!

if you are filling a fresh case dd has to be addressed to Canada
I got it from icici bank its clearly mentioned on the dd valid for 6 months
sorry to say but if you send 3 months valid dd then if they (cic)is unable to process in 3 months your file will be returned due to that... so be very careful

That is great and encouraging information.

I also made a CSE after PER, and they responded by asking me to send out physical documents to LVO so I have done that as well.

Having known that they accepted your new form, I am more confident that they'll accept mine as well!

Absolutely true because at 1st stage its CIC canada who is processing your case for per not your local Vo that's the second step they demand landing fee to be payable at local Vo (ndvo)... so processing fees has to be payable at canada

In my case it's reverse. I decided to close the browser and not to check for my emails for rest of the day. Just when I was about to click close button, I saw a new email but I was in a hurry and I thought it'd be another crap marketing email so I decided not to look at my inbox with any hope that it'll be a PER email but to my surprise that was the PER email!

Please can others correct me, if the above info is correct or I am wrong?

I guess tomorrow is the last working day before xmas holidays. So there will be around 1 week to 10 days without major activities at CIC.
