I would like to know what actually happened? I guess, you ticked "NO" in question 6(d) but you actually had visa refusal. It seems, VO called you for this and you got away with it? What exactly did you converse with VO to convince them to let this go?

Yesterday, one of the members confirmed that the visa office has called him and asked why he has not mentioned about his visa rejection. What do you think is the best thing to do now? I think you know the answer. Do what is right, at least now, to live peacefully in Canada.

Optimist3, my visa rejection was AFTER I sent my application to Sydney NS not before. That's why that was not a problem to me. Anyway, they gave me a call asking why I didn't mentioned it after knowing I was going to be processed. I hope this clarifies the issue.

Optimist3, my visa rejection was AFTER I sent my application to Sydney NS not before. That's why that was not a problem to me. Anyway, they gave me a call asking why I didn't mentioned it after knowing I was going to be processed. I hope this clarifies the issue.

Sure thing buddy!! I got it right he first time you told me. Your issue happened after you sent the app and hence didnt have any issue. Was citing your case only to suggest that VOs do cross verify data in the app.

Is there a time gap as to how long ago you applied for a visa that was declined? A friend of mine sent his papers and he was declined a visitor's visa to the US back in 2007-08. He had completely forgotten about it and is now concerned because he marked no on the form. What should he be doing?

In my reply to you I have mentioned that his visa got rejected after he sent the fsw app and hence could not include it in the fsw application, the same has been mentioned to the visa officer who called him.

Don't worry about CAP its very safe but you have deliver it before 1st jan so send it ASAP

You will not be penalized for anything which happens after the app is sent. But, you may mention the same to your local VO after the file gets transferred there.
