Hello My Dear Forumites . . . . truly, I am thankful to all forumites for re-assuring, guiding and helping me in my low times. I have recently completed my medicals (on 10/12/2014) and my third line was updated to "Medicals have been received". Furthermore, I have also submitted my RPRF (INR 26,700). Actually, there is a glitch in communication between me and CIC (I had raised queries and got replies from CIC so far). Now, how do I tell whether CIC has requested my passport . . . .

1.) Is it only after 4th line is updated (Decision Made). . .
2.) My communication with CIC works only by raising queries, so when will be the best time to ask them, whether I can submit my passport. . . . .

Thanks so much for your invaluable time

Cheers,
AJ
Try to keep your communication with your VO at minimum, that's the last line of every single mail they have send me. Passport request usually comes a few days after the 4th line of the ECAS is updated, no need to ask them when to submit your passport, that request will come in an email.
Be aware the huge amount of applications VO should process every day, not only FSW but Tourist Visa, Work Permit, Study Visa so they won't be able to update us the applicants of every single step that they do in processing our case.
Good luck.

[size=20pt]GUYS!! I need you help here...

My friend´s Application was returned to her by mail...the reason was; The officer was not satisfied of her Employment Letters from Australia. Now were planning to send all the revised Reference Letters to CIO before the 31st of december.. The question is.. Can we fly to Nova Scotia and drop the Application Personally? so that we can get the documents there in time..We are currently working in Canada BTW..

Thanks Guys..

First of all you still have time..If all docs are ready send it Today or Tomorrow with a good courier service.. CIC is closed on 25th and 26th Dec.. and after weekend you will still have 3 days..
If you really want to go by yourself to ensure by going yourself then offcourse you can go but CIC may not accept it from you.. I have my personal experience of going to NDVO to submit RPRF and PCC.. They said they can not take it in person.. The gatekeeper at NDVO suggested me to go to any nearby courier and bring the courier guy with yourself if you want to be sure and they will take the package from courier guy... So if CIC will not accept the package with you then you can do the same thing.. Grab any courier service near to CIC office..Give him the package to stamp the tracking number etc etc... and take him with yourself to CIC office and then return to your country.. By the way from where are you flying to Nova Scotia...

Hi seniors and all......

I know its silly still asking the same stupid question,

What percentage of chances to be rejected after receiving PER or what is the proportion success after PER?
Would be glad if any one can give some statistics

Regards

In the document check list,

8) Travel Documents and Passports, mentions, 'proof of admission'.

What is it and who needs to provide it?

200 days of waiting!!! :) Just happy that I am still in the race :) Hoping to see a lot of happy forumites today...

My third Line got updated......Medical results have been received.

Now waiting for PPR request.. I am planning to go in April 2015... anybody have same plan... we can accompany :)

Regards,
RK Nain

Why asking the same question over and over again (not you, is in general)? Would it make any difference?
Just relax and enjoy these days, when a person gets PER the chances of success are EXTREMELY HIGH. Of course there are a few things that could go wrong but a bullet proof application should go through with no problems.
+1 to you for the holidays ;D

Finally got my PCC and now I m ready to send my MR, PCC and RPRF.
Needed one more favor, Do I need to write my UCI no. and Application no. in the envelope label ? or it is just fine to attach a cover letter ?

Thanx in advance.

Do not write UCI or File Number at plain sight, in a cover letter is enough.
Congrats.

Dear Bosschips,

What a great relief!!!!

Would you please outline me how to get to CIO and ask for UCI number and check ECAS please? :)

It's somewhere on the immigration website. You could also back-read the threads. It was discussed somewhere here. Good luck!
