Hi everyone,

The birth certificate is not in english , so I made it's translated from the translator in to english. Now I got the following documents :

1) Birth certificate copy ( In my Native language )
2) Translation of Birth certification in english ( stamped and signed by the translator)
3) Affidavit given by the translator ( stamped and signed by the translator )

Now, for the above mentioned documents , Do I need to make any attestations like from a court or lawyer or my embassy or notary ?

Please advice for all the above three documents , if attestation is required ,

How it is possible for 2173 Aug 25 application to get PER mail, whereas many applicants whose app received date Aug 13 are still waiting without any app returned physically or email from CIO ?

1) I tried getting PCC from ahmedabad PSK but they dodnt as my current address and passport address is different. I am planning to put another application for surat PSK Showing my passport address as current address.i have got my and wife's election card as the proof.

Q1: Should I try getting PCC from Surat PSK?
Q2: Do they provide PCC on the same day if address on passport and current address is the same?

From other forum member experience, I learnt that DHL in Canada operates through third party and u can not get the name of the person who received the package. Since DHL confirmed delivery so u can rest assured that your app is delivered

hi All,

Can someone please advise me if I can get my stamping done at London location as my medical is done in London though my visa office is NDVO, I cannot go to New Delhi immediately as my wife is expecting a baby which is due in Mar next year. Anyway I informed NDVO about her situation but thinking if its wise to get stamping here once baby arrives.

Please guide me if this is done by any participant in past and it can be managed easily.

I agree with desertfox, a copy of your original Birth Certificate along with a notarized translation would do the trick. To be safe notarize the copy of your original Birth Certificate as well.

You can still get a PCC from a different address as long as you have a valid address proof. Election I Card is a good enough proof.
However there would be a Police verification from your local police station, which may take a couple of weeks. So the best option seems to be to take your PCC from the same address, which your passport has. There is no police verification and you get it the same day
