Why will they speed up or how much more can they speed up??
Current average processing times (7.3 months) for Singapore VO is a big improvement from previous years. (28 months)
I wouldn't push them too much They are doing a great job!

I received my PER mail on December 18th. There are a few changes I would like to update the Visa Officer/CIC about.

1. I'm going to join a new company in January, 2015 with a bit different roles and responsibilities to that of NOC 2281.
2. My Mailing Address has changed since I sent my file to CIC.
3. The first company I worked with has moved to a different City and the Address, Phones, fax and email address mentioned on the Exprerience letter have changed.

You can raise a CSE in the first week of Jan and inform them of the above changes.

Need to claryfy two things, please help.

1. Is it correct that Police Certificate requirements may vary depending on countries? For instance, immigration officers may require FBI checks from citizens of some countries, while for some countries regular police certificates would suffice?

2. I received PER in December, but need to renew passports. When should I notify local visa office and Canada Immigration office?

FBI PCC is required in US. Every country has a different process as per link http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
Renew the passports now and send copy to VO along with MR docs.

I have received an email requesting medical examination on 28/10/2014.

I paid the fees on 2/11/2014

I received and email requesting the passports on 20/11/2014

I sent my passport on 23/11/2014 and received on 26/11/2014

I am going to send my application tomorrow, just need three suggestions..

1. I am not sending Police Certificate at this stage because it will take time. Should I need to add an covering letter with my application that explain the reason of not incuding PCC at this stage. / NO

2. Approximately when they will ask for PCC as I need to travel to gather all of my PCCs. / VO will ask for it after PER so you can start collecting PCCs after once you receive PER. Also, only one PCC is required per country. No need to obtain 1 from each state.

3. As experience letter my company only give a three line line which shows my current position, date of joining and place of posting. Should I include a seprate sheet or my Detail CV with application. Or the responsibilities I mentioned on one of the forms are enough. Your reference letters must clearly state your job and responsibilities in compliance with your NOC. In the absence of the same, the application will be rejected. If company is not providing a detailed reference letter, please ask a senior colleague or a manager to provide you detailed reference letter and attach their visiting card and contact details with that letter.
