I have my application ready to send to NE, but I do not have the a proof of settlement funds with my papers. Do I need to send this with my documents? Beacause if I am approved I am going to sell a lot of things to get the funds.

The fees for permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars, made payable to “Receiver General for Canada”. Cash will not be accepted.

Payment by bank draft, bank cheque or postal order to the visa office in London

The bank draft, bank cheque or postal order should be made payable to the: Receiver General for Canada

Write your name and address on the back of the bank draft.

If your application is received at this office without the processing fee attached, it will be returned to you. In some countries, banks provide the service of forwarding your bank draft / bank cheque directly to this office. Please ensure that this is not done and that your fee accompanies your application.

Important: Bank drafts / bank cheques have limited validity. Ensure that your bank draft / bank cheque is not older than two months when it reaches this office.

Hi all ... I have been reading all the posts for quite some time and i must agree that it's extremely helpful to gain an insight of the happenings
I have applied for FSW under NOC 0121 on Sept 16 & recd a text from DHL confirming that my courier was delivered on 24/09/14 & signed by Milke. I have not recd any further contact from them. Bank has confirmed that the DD is still not encashed.

Do we have any update on when was the last PPR NOC 0121 that too for some one who sent a DD ??

What happens after charging? What is the process from money charging to issuing PER? What are the chances of NER after charging? Too many questions huh!!! But these times are so testing. Our DD is charged on 28 th November acc to bank. But no news from CIC yet. A bit tensed. Some one please throw some light.

one can expect PER email usually within 2 to 4 weeks from payment charging. If job responsibilities match with NOC, and u get 67 points or more, u receive PER, otherwise (God forbid) NER

Sorry mate. POF (proof of fund) is a compulsory document, without this you will not pass the completeness check and your applications will be return to you stating that incomplete.

Dear Diplumatro, Ryia, Canol, other Seniors and 2132 applicants

I want to share with you the following and I appreciate your insights:

Application has reached CIC on October 22nd under 2132 category
another mail was sent on October 23 to combine a corrected form which reached CIC on October 27
An email was sent to CIC to confirm the same on October 28
Mode of payment DD: Still not charged according to the bank
UCI: Is available from 2012 and showing ' could not identify you....'
CIC replied the email on December 17 stating:
' Due to the large volume of incoming applications since the new minsterial instructions for federal skilled worker category in May 2014, our office is experiencing a slightly longer delay than normal in the creation of applications. Please allow 1-12 weeks for creation of your record in database'

Whta does their reply mean in relation to the 207 application of 2132 that are still pending? Doesn't this give an indication that 2132 October applicants are not included in the 207 applicants? I notice that they did not say we could not identify your applications, just talking about creation of application!!

Your insights please.

I hope this can clarify something about the column titled ' pending applications' in the last update. My understanding is that those included only who were DD or CC charged otherwise they will not be classified as waiting for review.

it takes between 60 to 90 days to get PER. Moreover, it is said (not proven though) that applicants from managerial occupations need to wait more since their job duties etc are checked by senior CIO officials. You can make a phone call to CIO and ask them about the status of your file.
