hi Seniors,

reposting again....

Please advise, do we need passport of a new born baby if we need to add him/her to the original application. As per previous posts someone mentioned below is required, please guide.

1. 150 CAD application processing fee
2. Photograph of the baby
3. birth certificate.

Yes passport is must b'cos its a travel document. And you have to submit the above listed documents also.

its DD ryt???? so in my guess it shud be fine ..coz ive seen some forumites posting bout getting uncashed DD notification frm the bank even after gettng their PER..
Its my opinion..... maybe wrong...

I'm checking the bank account everyday but nothing is there

If you can add the baby to any of the parents passports if it's allowed in your country , send that page with photograph(s) [ I think you should sent 6 unless instructed to send 1 ] , a copy of the birth certificate showing the child + parents names and the fee .
If that was not the case in your country , go for a independent passport , send copy of it along with fee, photograph(s) and a copy of the B.C .

Last modified Nov 4th...
No charges and no emails !!!!!

Its the answer for you. They have already charged the DD and PER is on the way.
Ask about the DD encash details in bank.

what other confirmation u want??? it says ur exact receipt date ryt? thn ur PER is on the way.....

I was so desperate and I really hope that this is a good sign .... I was actually waiting for my documents to be returned as all Sep applicants have already been charged...
I'm sure that I haven't been charged as I chech my account everyday .... This is very confusing .... I will keep praying that this is true

Why you are checking your account?
You have to inquiry in the bank for the DD details.

The CIC mail is also not clear on what do they consider as a complete application and without properly charging fees how can
it be said complete and move to the next step of MI review ( which is nothing but PER).

Because it's how CIO works:

C-check-> cost recovery -> data entry -> MIAR -> email

You have to inquiry in the bank for the DD details.

It is bank draft so I thought it will be deducted from my account ...
I will do that and go to the bank as you said
