Hi Members,

Need you advise, please help. My File reached CIC on 15TH Dec.

In Checklist Item : 16 Identity and Civil Status Documents, there is a point related to Name change.
"Legal Documents showing name or date of birth changes( If aaplicable)."

I have changed my name in Passport this year as below:
From: Manpreet Singh (this is the name which is on my all educational credentials, and Job experience letters)
To: Manpreet Singh Dhindsa(adding the Lastname/family Name, this is my name on passport issued in 2014, IELTS score, Bank Documents and ECA report) .

And as a Legal Document related to this point 16 I had only shared a copy of my passport.
Will it solve the purpose or I needed to send the Newspaper Cutting(where i had gone for name change)/Affifavit ?

If I need to take an action now, Please advise the process.

I dont see a challenge here. They treat passport as the primary key. Even I have the same case, added surname in year 2013 with educational certificates without surname.

Anyone have any good theories as to why certain NOCs are going much faster than others? Are they trying to clear out the most popular NOCs before Express Entry starts? Are they rotating people between NOCs, a few days at a time? Seems like half the NOCs (including mine, 0113) are stalled, with no new PERs in weeks.

Hi All,

I got my PER on 8th Nov. What are chances to get PR by first week of Jun. My VO is NDVO.

I have three months of notice period. I am very frustrated with office politics and wanted to quite the job , but due to this snail PR process I can't do much.

Kindly advice me how to send passports to new delhi (NDVO).....I am in Ludhiana.....is it better to submit same by hand at New Delhi or send them through courier.

I havent got PPR yet, just the ECAS updated to decision made. I updated the same in SS, but its showing in the PPR category

Didnt want to mislead, but i am sure, PPR is just hours away

jst an observation for NDVO PPR received --- application received date between May 7 and May 12
is it correct to assume that FIFO has started from these dates?

I am sending a new application. Can I use the same IELTS document that was sent back to me from my previous application (note that the returned IELTS had had a punched hole on it made by CIC).
Please advise.
