Hi everyone,

Who process PR card?
is that cpc ottawa or CIO sydney ?

Please help.

Thank you.

Whatever you get on you passport is PR VISA stamp generally processed by LOCAL visa office.

PR card gets processed only after you enter into canada.
at the port of entry, you will be asked to provide all the information to process PR card.
It will be sent to your residence address in Canada.

By the way,
how does it matter, who process PR card? (I am asking Just with curiosity)

Hey man,

I am done with my landing on Nov 6th and still waiting for my PR card.
The reason behind asking this question is that I came to know that they have sent my PR card. I am flying to US on 23th, Dec.
If the card is being sent from CIO sydney, then I dont have any chance of spending my vacation in US. Since it will take atleat 8 business days to get here in Calgary. If the card is sent from CPC ottawa, it will be lot quicker.

I applied under 2281 on August 22nd and my CC was charged on November 20th. I have not got my PER yet. As per SS an august 27th applicant who applied under same NOC got his PER today.

Thanks

Hi Thomos,

Once Credit card charged means your application complete and 95% is over.

Very few chances to get rejected in later stages.

Wait for one more weeks and call CIC

I cannot find the original post to quote, but this is for DRAJPOOT who asked me about GCMS notes.

Those are what some time ago was called CAIPS, it's extract from the case in GCMS system, and it contains all information about the applicants case: when it was opened, by who, how many points allocated, what checks have been performed — everything, all information about the case.

However, I've changed my mind, I don't want them anymore. It means I'll have to give some third party very confidential information about me and my case... I'd rather not do that, so I think I'll be better off without those notes. I think all we who waits for MR, should just take a deep breath and channel our energy towards upcoming holidays. ;D Who knows — it very may be that this is would be our last Christmas in our country!

Dear All,

I am Sending my second application for 0113- occupation on 18th Dec,2014 with expected arrival at CIO 24th Dec,2014.

What do you think that occupation 0113 which as per 16th Dec,2014 update on CIC website has 405-applications (227.PER+178wait.review).

What do you think that whether my application will have chance to be entertained under this occupation OR there will be sufficient number of already received applications waiting in the QUE in CIO cabinets for this occupation-0113, waiting their application packages to be opened up? and before turn of my application parcel to be opened will come CAP would have been already filled up ? Can anyone forecast what could be expected for my second application?

Regards,
George,
from Doha, Qatar

Hi guys a quick question.
If I have a VO in my country but is not processing applications for permanent residence at the moment and I my case was redirected to another VO. Which of the two will request my passport to stamp the visa? It is possible that Mexico City (the one which is processing the application) requests the passport but Havana (the VO in my country) stamps the visa? :o

Amazing. Two PERs from October reported today. Don't know if they are both true, but the one from October 2nd is from a guy with 75 posts already, NOC 4011, so it may be true.

The one from October 1st was 2132, a first post of a user, so I'm not so sure.

What the fudge CIO? Why you became so random? :(

Current update on fee charging & PER on the 17 Dec. 14 at 21:09 GMT
Latest CC Charged: 14 October
Latest DD encashed: 16 September
Latest PER: 2 October (New Entry)
Total CIC App: 16,109 out of 25,000
Number towards 1000 capping target = 11,544
Number of pending applications = 4,565

Thanks ksa for the info and +1. My application is on October 16th DD mode. My ECAS shows "in process" -> "we received..." I can't confirm with my bank but if Ecas is updated after cost recovery then my DD was cashed already as well. Or there's a chance that ecas update was done (for incomplete application) and DD was not cashed as it seemed very early compared with what the SS shows now? I am worried.

Yes, and most likely it is what will happen when they issue PPR.

Dear all, I am so happy! I just received my PER. I am shaking with happiness. Thanks all for this wonderful forum.

My timeline and info for reference:
Application received date October 16, 2014
NOC 4011
DD cashed on December 12, as per PER email, with payment receipt number
PER received December 17, as per PER email.

Things that made me worried:
- contract does not include detailed job duties, just as per government regulations
- the reference letter from my supervisor is not bulleted and job duties did not stand out clearly but blended in other non-essential things
- i only included job letter from my previous job which is under Noc 4011, and nothing for other 2 jobs i did before and doing now. I just mentioned them in Schedule 3

Good luck to everyone! :D :D :D
