Dear friends,
I want to know about documents which are required in original and which are as photocopies ?
You need to send below ones in original
All CIC forms, ECA, IELTS scorecard, reference letters, settlement funds letter (either bank statement or bank certificate for fixed deposits or other sources), PCC, Photos
I have sent these in original. Others may provide more details in case anything else needs to be added or removed

Also, what should be sent for highest education (4 years Bachelors degree) proof except ECA? all semesters mark sheets or only final degree certificate or both are required.
I have attached 10th mark list (SSC), Intermediate mark list, all 4 years bachelors degree mark lists and final degree certificate.. all were been attested also
again, this is what I have done.. if anyone have any questions, please advice..

When did they uploaded the medicals?
If you didn't get any call from the hospital for extra test means you have cleared the medicals.
Don't worry by this weekend you will see the 3rd line updation.

My wife's Passport will be expire on 2016 February , should her passport require minimum 12 months validity at the time of visa stamping, can she renew her passport this year itself and should we inform NDVO regarding the same,

I am primary applicant and my passport expires in Feb 2015. I have got it renewed recently and got the renewed passport in one week, because my wife passport has the recent address and hence police inquiry was waived off.. I will submit my renewed passport details to NDVO during my Medicals/RPRF submission which would be easy and tension free..
In general, your passport or your dependents passport should have minimum validity of 6 months by the time of stamping.
As i see your timelines (Aug applicant), I advice you to apply for your wife passport renewal immediately, so that you can be ready with renewed passport by the time you receive MR

I need an urgent reply for this coz. one of my freinds sent his application on Dec 5th 2014. And he filled up the forms downloaded in May 2014, since then, some of the forms have been updated such as IMM0008 forms and fee payment form. Will this cause his application to be returned. Has anyone experienced this? He's planning to send just the updated forms again. Will he be able to just send the filled up updated forms since his application reached there just last week.

Sep applicants are started getting PER. Happy to see.

What could be the reason for delay. Almost 4 weeks after CC charged. Worried .

I obtained my UCI number and Current status:in process- states your app received on 28 August.

I have few queries as following:

1. Would you please give me an idea about how much time does MR notification normally takes after getting PER?
it varies case to case.. 50 days is the average time taken by NDVO..
2. On an average how many months does it take to complete process starting from date of filing application until issuance of visa?
As per my knowledge it would take 7-9 months (4 months between application rcvd and PER. 2 months between PER and MR. 2 months between MR and PPR/stamping). Again it is case by case
