My online update says: Medicals received.
i already done my medicals and as per update above does it mean its cleared or still it can be rejected based on medicals?

From my experience on this forum, You have cleared medicals .. that is why your 3rd line has been updated.

I am sep 11 applicant. Just wanted to check is there any way to check your application status before PER mail.
Some ppl commented about their ECAS status and waiting for PER.
Is it possible to check ECAS before PER ?

Sorry for raising this silly question.

But I request your expert adv on below as I am in a confusion.For the last couple of days,I have been trying to apply for Dubai PCC.But couldnt do until now.Please clarify below points.

1) My consultant told me that I should get Police clearance certificate from Dubai Police ,but I read in forum that some members have got good conduct certificate...Really confused ...what is the correct name?

2)Is original passport necessary for PCC from Dubai?

I have not got my PER yet :/ CC charged on 20th Nov. ECAS says "in process" we received your app on 22nd August.


27th August PER is out for my NOC. Does that mean am out of the game? Feeling so depressed and sad :/

Yes it is possible if you have UCI. Have you ever travel to canada before I mean have you ever got any Canada visa before??????? If yes you must have a UCI by which u can check ECAS but you will get the status only when your dd or cc charged for FSW application.

Breaking News on Update from CIC
TOTAL APPLICATION NOW 16,109 out of 25,000
Number towards 1000 capping target = 11,544
Number of pending applications = 4,565

Capping Update Analysis.
The new column just added is good for all applicants.
This is a big relieve so as to know the outstanding applications
awaiting review.
Column 2 is pointer towards capping.
As at today,if you add column 1 and column 2 and it is close to 1,000 there is no point
of sending application to these NOCs.
Kindly go for alternative NOCs.

Good conduct certificate is PCC in UAE...They will ask you about which country you need to send this PCC say them that it is for Canada, thats it...

I have received PCC form Abu Dhabi and India as well...

If my previous company is not willing to issue me the letter of reference, how to satisfy cic in such situation.. can i send cic my appointment letter and resignation acceptance along with my emails in which i ve requested them to issue me the letter..
Would this be effective??

I don't think they need to write a letter of reference, just a letter outlining your roles and responsibilities while you worked with them. If they refuse you may have to get sworn affidavits from several people you worked with instead.
