My CC got charged yesterday but my bank says payment is showing outstanding.
what would that mean?

Same is my case, funds were on reservation for couple of days and than in the end it was taken of my credit card.

Hi CanOl,

Its possible and allowed. My close friend who got PR through CEC (Canadian Experience Class) got his passports sent through VFS, got them stamped and he said its the safest way. I will check with him first thing tomorrow and let the group know the process.

It's pretty straight forward process, you just need to visit your closest VFS office. Once you are there the entire process will be very evident, people in VFS are very professional and will guide you.
Once your passports arrive back, you can goto VFS and collect them. VFS will notify you, once passports arrived back at VFS. I think there is also an option to courier the passport from VFS to our home, but safest is to goto VFS and collect the passport

Its been a journey of around 4 months with this forum. I didn't realize how helpful this forum would be which I did after sending my application. You guys helped me a lot to be clear about so many confusions. Thanks to all of you.

App received date: 28-Aug-2014
Payment mode: DD
PER Received: 17-Dec-2014

I visited SS many times but found it no way to update it. Can anyone please do that for me... Or you can give me instructions how to do that... Love you all :-*

my app reached on 14 may received PER on 27 august...but still there is no file transfer,processing started or MI on ecas,, what should i do?? ecas is just showing received ur app for PR on 14 may... so much confused :'(

You just recd your PER and you are asking for MR !!
You will get it in 45 days to 60 days. These days it is taking even slightly longer.

It has been 50 days since PER yet no MR/PCC and no second line update..

Dunno till when to wait for MR and PPR...

It takes between 2 to 3 months and on average 75 days, so relax.

Friends my FBI PCC is rejected( after wait of 3.5 months) due to poor quality of fingerprints . I got it done from US Local Police Station thinking that might be the safest bet. Has anyone done fingerprinting in US if yes what is the best place to get it done?

Also what is the latest date that has received MR,PCC request, mine is July 16 application wondering if i have enough time in hand now :'(
