So basically we can say that this additional column in cic list i.e "Pending applications (Complete applications waiting for MI Acceptance Review)" are those applicants who's payment has been charged but PER not issued?

Quote from PER Sample Mail >>Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions MI are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.


Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

MI instruction includes the six factors and others which is under REVIEW** ...

Hi All,

Does anyone know the holiday schedule for cic. i am planning to send my application tomorrow, expected to be delivered on 24th Dec. Will cic be accepting on 24th december or, will it have to wait for the holidays to be over.
Just curious if i will be able to dock the app before they close accepting apps for fsw 2014.

Yes it seems like this. They cleared the confusion applicants faced that as per previous update, their NOC was around 600 and suddenly next update showed 1000 completed. They have segregated the pending applications to make it clear for applicants i guess.

I am a bit tensed. 10th sep applcant NOC 1123, DD mode. I have called CIC many times but didnt receive any reply. my bank people are not also not giving any information about my DD encashment. really worried whether i am through or not.

i have read 2 days back that 16 th sep applicant got his DD encashed with same NOC.

Don't worry bro, it will clear in coming days.
Only option to get to know is to be in touch with Bank People, from whom you made DD... Call and check with that particular person (if any) who helped you in making DD.
Check with him once in a day or two .
Just pray and Believe in God brother, you will be through, Don't worry ...

Hello all fellow applicants...I am an applicant from 2013.....got my visa in March 2014....landed on 27th June.....me and my wife are settled with jobs and took us almost 4-5 months to setup our home and other stuff....Wen i landed i was alone with no friends and relatives and I know how painful it is.....just want to extend all my support to any of you if interested.....remember you are not alone here....I was also an excited applicant from 2013 timeline thread and now it is time to pay back to this wonderful forum with my support...please PM if any of guys need anything and I shall try my best to reply asap....i will try and send this message every day on this forum so that everyone can see it....please dont hate me doing this....

Hello I am reposting this as I really need some opinions!

Hello, I just went to see my consultant and I have some enquiries. My application is almost complete they will send it tomorrow. On top of the whole package there is an affidavit of the translator, not individual affidavits for each translated document. We are also sending all original documents of everything except passport and IDs. So there are basically no notarized copies. Most of the originals are in Korean some in English. Is this alright? I guess originals are better than copies even notarized ones am I wrong? How about one affidavit for the whole application?
They seem to have experience doing this and told me it is ok. But I would like to hear your opinions.

I applied on 08 December 2014, Caps were updated today. Total applications charged are 554 and pending are 377 total is 931. Can anyone tell me their opinion as to which applications would be included in 'Pending'?

Breaking News on Update from CIC
TOTAL APPLICATION NOW 16,109 out of 25,000
Number towards 1000 capping target = 11,544
Number of pending applications = 4,565

Capping Update Analysis.
The new column just added is good for all applicants.
This is a big relieve so as to know the outstanding applications
awaiting review.
Column 2 is pointer towards capping.
As at today,if you add column 1 and column 2 and it is close to 1,000 there is no point
of sending application to these NOCs.
Kindly go for alternative NOCs.
