I was wondering that what does "2nd line or 3rd line updated" means. I read it in lot many posts but couldn't figure out what is 2nd and 3rd lines update in ECAS.

Once you will get your PER or encashment done you would know all about it ...

cc charged- 23rd Nov
PER rec- 16th Dec
VO- NDVO

Need your advice

1) I am planning to apply for PCC this month. The issue i am facing is that my wife's passport has details prior to our marriage. My question is that should we get the PCC on the old address or first get the address changed in the passport. - No need to change, If the address is same as what's mentioned in her Passport, Then she would get it on the same day without any issue

2) PCC from local PSK work? - It does work from PSK

3) checked my status- it show 'in process'- what will be the second line? We started processing your application on MM DD,YYYY

i guess NOC 1212 is a cold NOC in all areas at CIC level.

Could any one help me in the way that i have not any English language test as required. Tiil what time we can give the test so that it can be considered.
it would be great help.

The test result needs to be submitted along with application. So needs to be given upfront, not later.

Any NOC 1212 also. Waiting for PER but i dont knw when my DD is cashed. However, i can access my ECAS from 8th of Dec, 2014 ( 10 days of active ecas today and am still waiting for PER ).

In laymans language,
2nd Line is when background check is done and VO is about to issue MR or Interview request.
3rd Line (if no interview) is receipt and updation of Medical reports

2nd line in ECAS "we've started processing your application" - means local visa office opened your file and started processing

3rd Line "medicals received" - means your medical reports are received and found ok

4th line " Decision made" - means you are going to receive pass port request soon
