Despite Spending 14 years in Industry, professionally qualified, I am yet to look for a smooth sailing. Life is about taking challenges and keeping an eye on your visions and goals. Job situation for senior professional is not easy and I know many examples who had to struggle for a year to get next jobs when their positions re-engineered back to origin country.
So what helps and talks about smooth sailing is :
Mindset and that has to be positive all time no matter we start at a shop floor, or a patrol pump or as a pizza delivery boy.
Few of my friends have gone through the same and after their committment to succeed in canada, in just 2 years they have become job inventors and providing jobs in their field to starters. Though they themselves started as floor boys and pizza delivery boys 2 years ago.
" Its on us weather to invent jobs to to search for jobs"
Rule of the game is same: Positivity, Connections and committment to change
