Ok so the one you got, it has address mentioned that of your office?

I am thinking on these terms, the address you mentioned on your application form must be your home address and thats what is in records of NDVO as well.

Now your PCC is showing a different address. Hmm it could be a cause of concern. ::)

Any Suggestions ? Beginning to get worried now...

Thanks buddy.

From what I know (I may be wrong), if we are sending our passports directly by courier, they will be returned by NDVO via speed post (this happened to my sister in law around 2 years back). Thats why I am not going this way.

I am going to VFS tomorrow and submitting passports there.
They will charge fees of 638/- per passport as service fee but rest assured passports will be safely moving between VFS and NDVO and back to VFS after stamping, I will then go to VFS and personally collect them. Passport is too valuable of a document book to be sending via couriers and speed posts, my own personal opinion.

I completely agree Amit. But is it allowed to send passports through VFS ? Do let us know.

i believe tht the last 2171 charging i saw was of september 2 applicants..so im srry to say tht in my opinion ur first application will not fall under noc2171.... all the very best fr ur 2nd app......pardon me if im wrng..
Regards

Thanks Sandeep.

I am worried about Double NOC Application. If they don't count 2171 for October 1, then it's not a problem.

But I can not be sure about it. If any seniors can fall light on this matter... that would be a great relief for me.

Yes it absolutely is allowed.

I am copy pasting this from the PDF letter sent in the PPR email to me today:

1) Passports

 Please provide passports or travel documents for yourself and each accompanying

dependant, along with a copy of this letter, to the visa office in New Delhi. Please see the VFS

Visa Application Centre (India) website for details on how to transmit your passports to the

Canadian High Commission: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/India/.

 Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military

passports.

 There must be at least two blank pages in each passport.

 We are unable to issue a visa beyond the expiry date in your passport. You passport must be

valid for at least six months.

I am putting myself in the shoes of a visa officer, I am scanning your documents and I noticed the discrepancy of addresses between your PCC and your address in records.
It will make me think why so?
Its a Police Clearance Certificate suggesting that you do not have any criminal records/background. Any doubt on this PCC is surely not good for the application, dont you think?

So if you have time in hand still, then get PCC for the same address as that is given in your application records with NDVO
