dd is normally valid for upto 6 months or 12 months.......but at time of applying it must not be old than 2 months or else they can send ur app back due to this reason.

cheques are not entertained for immigration fees payments by cio.

There are still 60%+ of immigrants that did manage to be successful in Canada. It's going to be tough, you can be sure it will.

There are several horror stories around. For every country you search: Canada, USA, France, England, Australia...

Try to look for the success stories. You are bound to find a lot of them too.

Finally... if you live in Switzerland and make $ 670k+ a year... why would you leave?? It doesn't make a lot of sense for me.

Hello All,
I have a question regarding Police certificate from Houston consulate. I do not live in Houston but I plan to go to Houston later this month and I am planning to apply for police certificate in person when I go to Houston.
I wanted to know if the police certificate will be granted on same day for in-person application at Houston consulate? If they dont issue the certificate the same day then do they keep the passports with them or do they just check passport when accepting the application?

Someone who has got police certificate from Houston or any other US consulate, please reply.....This will greatly help me in planning my visit.
