The value of your portfolio in mutual funds investments depends on markets as the up's and downs in market effect the NAV of your fund hence changing your fund value .deepcan said:i have investments in mutual funds in india here but they are not giving any stamped statements. has anybody tried from them? or only copies of mailed statements are enoughh???
any idea guys?
Typically you need to show CIC readily available cash that you can use to settle in CA. Like your Bank Savings.poopiee said:The value of your portfolio in mutual funds investments depends on markets as the up's and downs in market effect the NAV of your fund hence changing your fund value .
I am not sure if MF investments can be considered as a source of funds while we land in Canada .
If seniors can guide?
I'm totally guessing here, but most people who get a PER will ultimately get a VISA. The only issue is if they fail criminal checks or potentially the medical. So I would estimate it's more like this. Remember, when they ask for the passport you are already accepted - so unless you fail to send the passport or you fail to eventually show up in Canada, it's a for sure thing.Giftsmas said:Hello Seniors,
Can somebody tell us how much success rate ( probable success rate) with every step has a candidate to pass through the final process and become a PR?
Application received: 05%
CC/DD cashed: 25% ?
PER: 50%
PCC + Medicals: 70%
AOR: 80%
Passport: 95%
Landing: 99%
Can someone ( preferably a senior) correct this success progress report?
Thanks

CC/DD cashed: 75%
PER: 95%
PCC + Medicals: 98%
Passport: 100%
Landing: 100%
Thanks for the response. I think your calculation has more logical thinking.
cheers

Well, with provincial component it gets as high as 13% in Ontario. While in Oregon it's 'zero'. Moreover, HST tax is applied to gas prices in Ontario and in the US it's tax free. And by all means, I am not complaining, but saying that the US has higher taxes than in Canada has nothing to do with the real picture.LittleOwl said:As far as I know, there is some kind of tax on prices in almost every state.
Heck, we have 20% tax within prices here in Ukraine, and you are complaining about measly 5%))))

After reading some of the comments in dis forum which says few applications retured due to insufficent evidences, i am bit nervous now as my experience had following details
1. Tenure
2. Designation
3. Number of hours
4. Roles n responsibilities
5. Salary
6. All the above on companies letter head
Will this be sufficient as i have not attached any other document like salary slips etc?
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

I am sure many those who are already in Canada will agree with me because I have been here from past 4.5 years, so what you are saying I dont agree with any of those. I can provide you with a reply to every 14 points you mentioned include advantage and drawsback but just dont want to waste my time. No offence though
