How long will it take to get a news from NDVO after got PER mail

Guys, I've got a friend over at our Brazilian FSW Facebook group that has just received PER. Here's her timeline:

NOC 1123
Application received at CIO: August 29th
DD encashed: November 23rd
PER: December 16th

We're reaching the end of August for CIO...

Received my passport back today with the VISA

Depends on how long you've been getting this sort of "good news". Not so long ago, one dude from Russian forum got his visa - in 7 years after applying for it

OMG, 7 years! It's a joke by CIC if they took that much time. In 7 years, kids of some of forumites may be applying for US student visa. ;D

Success chances on FSW programmes

Hello Seniors,

Can somebody tell us how much success rate ( probable success rate) with every step has a candidate to pass through the final process and become a PR?
Application received: 05%
CC/DD cashed: 25% ?
PER: 50%
PCC + Medicals: 70%
AOR: 80%
Passport: 95%
Landing: 99%

Can someone ( preferably a senior) correct this success progress report?

Finally and after 5 week from PER I have seen some progress:

Excel updated!!!

PER: 116/14
RPRF Charged: 12/15/14
VO Processing: 12/12/14

The light at the end of the tunnel looks brighter everyday...

I submitted just ONE page long job reference letter....particularly A4 size.......nothing else, no pay slips, no contract letters, no emails, nothing.......just one A4 page........and I m through! that's called well presented .......not just sending each and everything thing to make ur case looks strong.....infact it starts looking suspicious........as the only MUST requirement is just Job reference letter.....nothing else........everything is either optional or supportive...........so when people send everything or something.....they make their cases suspicious and then they come under tight scrutiny....so to be well presented......send a clean and clear one page of reference letter.....that is more than sufficient to make u through.

Hmm. Well, I did add job contract and a certificate from tax office : I also had reference on single plain A4 sheet, one page. And it wasn't even on a letterhead because it was not, strictly speaking, company, it was a sole proprietor (kinda freelancer who hires labor). Well, maybe too much effort on my side, I don't know. Will see.

So, your VO did not perform any kind of check on your reference - not a phone call, not an e-mail?

I have done with my medical on 30 Nov.
But there is no 3rd line update yet.
I cross checked with hospital and confirmed that they have sent the report and they are normal.
I have also raised case enquiry for NDVO, but at this point, wait is killing
What can be reason of this delay??

i have investments in mutual funds in india here but they are not giving any stamped statements. has anybody tried from them? or only copies of mailed statements are enoughh???
any idea guys?

I did submit printed statements from camsonline and karvy and it was accepted as pof. Rest you can see my timelines
