I am deeply pained to learn the horrific incident that happened in Pakistan.
There is no possible justification for killing kids.

SAD SAD day for humanity.

My prayers are with the family of victims and those who witnessed this horrendous killings. The psychological mark left on the tender mind of kids will be irreparable.

SK - +1 to you and Goku. Coincidence or fate, I have been thinking about these kind of things for a couple of days meself. Nice of goku to "roku" our other friend :)
There are a lot of people who have had nothing but good things to say, and another lot who have nothing but bad things to vouch for.
I think it depends on:
1. your mental state at the time of writing the post.
Did you get dumped by that sexy blonde girl you thought you could go out with? Unless you have a REAL good personality with a FANTASTIC physical appearance, I doubt you could get far with that attitude. Of course buckets of cash are helpful for short term, too.
2. your initial expectations from Canada.
Some tend to think of Canada in terms of Hollywood movies or in terms of "Silencer" from "3 Idiots" of "My Lamborghini 6496 cc - very fast!" fame. You dont need just luck to get there mateys!
3. the reason for your immigration.
Did you move to work to support yourself and your family? Or have fun? Or take it easy and chill at night clubs all night for a month?
4. you level of preparation at the onset of your move.
I cannot think of one.... ONE person I know who went to Canada without talking to a few Canucks and employers and landed a job "luckily" - All the people I know have worked hard to get where they are - some have failed but stuck on and made it eventually - everyones path and speed are different but I dont think that should deter anyone!
5. how you handled what Canada threw at you in the form of challenges. I firmly believe if life gives you lemons, you should open a lemonade stall! :P

+1 +1 to you and Goku Saar!
Regards,
Rick

Very well said dear...

I n afternoon time I read his detailed story about Canada...And u wont believe that his story was so depressing that even it made me think that if I am doing the right thing? So...if his story can made me feel like that who is having 8 year experience in design automotive with project handling in Germany and good background, his story can shake a lot of people on this forum.
In the end he says I dont want to demotivate anyone...WTF...that was so demotivating.

Now I tell a story...
Its about my friend who is living in Surrey BC. He is one of the reason I am doing this FSW thing. He got a handsome job after 1.5 months from his landing in machine design work using 3d design software (Which we usually use in design work), that in a span of one year he is driving his own car, living a good life with his home maker wife and not just that he has supported his family as well.

The one who says Canada is a land where as you will land, you get a hot blonde chick who wants have a drink and dance with u, Then u will come out of club asking her to ride in flame red ferrari, there will be days with drinks and nights with parties.......BULLSHIT....
Every country which is strong is built strong by its people...so we will have to work hard...we will have to find jobs, we will have to travel...but one thing is sure CANADA is a land of opportunities, its up to u how u pick up the opportunities....prepare yourself...and stay positive...CANADA needs skilled people and thats why they are taking us in...NOW THE FUNNY FACT......Canadian Govt is not interested to bring u in Canada to make u beggar or labor. Thats why they are asking for educated people.

Rest is up to u Guys...
